I think that's the mantle he's claimed for himself, actually. And in fact many Liberals were going ga-ga over him back in 2000, he may still have some of that political capital remaining.

......surely that was Democrats thinking 'Bush or McCain, hmmmmm'........and haven't some Republicans done something similar in regard to Obama and Clinton? Thought i'd read that somewhere.....
Yeah, they've voted in Democrat primaries in contravention of state law in a couple states. Next up, the shop-worn excuse: but the Dems did it in 19xx! Either that or Clinton got a blowjob (a running joke elsewhere).

Moving right along, the US doesn't have a "left", as anyone who has ever travelled outside the US and actually learned about where they were knows. What is called left by the American fascists is center-right in Europe. What is MOR here is right in Europe, and what is right here is, well, far right to Neo-Nazi in Europe.

Do you even know what fascist means? We are speaking US politics, so the left, right and center are based upon the policies and perspectives here, not in Europe.

To the OP, the division in the Dem party has caused many problems in the past. Dems can gloss this over if they want, but the polls show that they care less about the party and more about cheering for someone.

I am an independent, and I will not vote for business as usual Hillary.

At this point it is all just a bunch of talking heads.. and BS. If so and so does such and such I will take my ball and go home. To be honest.. I will not vote for McCain.. not gonna happen. I want my friends out of this war. I want them home. ( In a decent time table... not lets stay there another bloody 100 years BS) I want someone who will stand up for human rights here and abroad. I prefer Hillary... but if it doesnt come down to that.. well I will take Obama ( Gods I cant stand his ass ) in a pinch. I have a Rep. friend who has been trying to "sell" me on Obama... *sighs* I just am not buying it.. something in my gut.

Gwyn
