It sure does that's why I moved here to Myrtle Beach.S.C. from New Hampshire.
I had to have a 4 wheel drive pick up truck in N.H.
One winter we had to pick up our mail at the Post Office for a month as the snow banks froze and the delivery lady couldn't get close enough to the mailboxes many of which were buried anyway.
Then there was the job of having to pull tons of snow off the roof with a snow rake in freezing temps and howling winds so that it wouldn't collapse from the weight.
Don't get me going on snow.

Happy Birthday the.dark, you two look fabulously young for your age.

To the others, I agree on the snow, but but when you don't live through all 4 seasons how do you get deliriously drunk on spring when it finally comes? I have all my windows open today and you can almost smell it...Of course, it is Maine, so it is a fickle thing here, weather. But today is spectacular, so I am going to be in the moment.

Aw...I have had to reschedule because of heavy rains and strong winds, the highways simply are not safe with such conditions.
