I too find the Ghurka situation in Britain apalling. My view, swear the Oath of Allegiance to the Queen as British Forces have to on enrolment, entitles you to a place in the Queen's country, politicians should not even have a say in it. Anyone who is prepared to lay down their life in defence of a nation should be awarded full rights of a citizen of that country. I have met Ghurka in civilian mode, and never before have I met such polite, honourable human beings as they. They might be ferocious killers, but off duty, they are of a standard most Britons can only dream of. Hey, maybe that's it, they can't stay because they would show Britons to be nothing in comparison to them, they would show us our reality.
