I loved the story my grandmother used to tell about when she was packing to leave our house when I was about 3, that she would turn her back on her suitcase & then turn around to put something in it & there would be one of my shoes; or a toy; or a sock. She finally ended up taking me with her. I've been playing this game for 60 years now!! I left that espresso there so you'd have to let me come back & get it. Didja check around for my panties??? giggle

I love that Red and Linea had such a great time! I love that Hejira's MArine is home for a bit! I love all the other happy news! I love that it's cool enough again to turn off the a/c and open windows (and teh kittehs are out on the porch enjoying it too)! I love that tomorrow I am going to Orlando to take Tulip to see Blackmore's Night!

I love it when we are getting some chores done around here that usually requires a man to do it. Now to find a guy with a chainsaw to get this tree out of my yard (it fell during a storm). I love it when the Social Security Administration send me my hearing decision and my case is in the payment center's hands now. I love it when my afghan kit comes in the mail the same day I started a new project (I crochet as part of my therapy).

She seems to be a bit better.. not sure if it's wishful thinking, but I THINK she's gained back a smidgen of weight.. Just called the vets, gonna pick up more prednisone tomorrow (and get her weighed).

I'm grateful that someone I wasn't ready for and whom I treated badly is back in my life. I'm grateful he has forgiven me. I wish we were closer though.

I love that I'm making a ton of salsa today. I know, a silly thing to be so happy about. Canning it up and giving them out as christmas gifts this year. People tend to really dig when I do that. Did it one year, and also canned up my marinara sauce. Many happy christmasers. :)
