I knew I forgot something.....Hejira I am so so pleased your son is home for two weeks.  I can only imagine how special this time you will both have together will be and the memories will keep you warm until he is back home again and in your arms.

I love it when I get to talk to my Girly on the phone because she is not a phone person & I always feel warm fuzzies when she calls me.

I love it when Red does a hostage scene & keeps me in her clutches for another night.  I love waking up next to her.  I could do that for infinity & beyond.  Except for the part where she gets all verbal on me before caffeine.  Non-addicts just do not get it.

I love that I'm going to donate some of my time today for the local campaign (even tho I hate politics) to help pass the new city ordinance that anyone who is lesbian, gay, transgendered, cross dresser etc.. cannot be discriminated against as far as housing and jobs and I think a few other things goes. I hate that parking is a mess.

I just heard from the vet & Jimmy/Holly have had their operations...ow and are resting comfortably in their cages.

I volunteered in a Spay/Neuter Clinic one time for Alley Cat Allies. Ouch!!!
They spay/neuter feral cats for free if folks can catch the cats on their land & release the cats in the same area after the operation. I started off in the Prep room. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! I can't get that vision out of my head now whenever I take in pets to be fixed.
I moved to the Recovery Room. The cats looked so sweet as they slept..............then they woke up.[sm=afraid.gif]

I love it when after a rough weekend, the weight gain I anticipated wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared, and that in spite of a tumble, I'm back on my food intake program.

I love that I'm going to be ok.

Great long weekend, actually had 36 hours where i did no work.

ok had to play catch up when i got back this afternoon, but it was worth it.

Him to myself, no distractions, no ginger [:)] just pleasantly aching in all the right places.

yes the cushion is helping [:D]

egg nog is a no no and not because of the calories/fat content.

That stuff can actually be fatal with the new strains of e-coli (and i KNOW e-coli is found in the intestines, but egg shells are extremely porous and are easily contaminated)
