I love it that I am back here for a few minutes exhausted but so happy as I spent the weekend back home, I slept in my old bed, spent lots of time with my folks, my mum made my favourite foods, I saw some of my friends whom I haven't seen forever, I baked scones and they were edible!!!!!!!!, I went to see my favourite band last night, I drove to the country and got to spend a couple of hours with my best friend who lost her mum a couple of weeks ago (a 5 hour return trip for two hours with her and worth every shoulder aching minute of the drive :) ), I had an interview for a job which went pretty well, my niece spent the night and we watched twilight (though she kept telling me to shush as I kept asking every time there was a new person on the screen if they were a vampire and why didn't they have any fangs ha ha) and I had lots of texts, some emails and a phone call from the ..... friend with benefits [:D] that I seem to somehow have found. When I got off the plane there was a text welcoming me back home and he rang tonight ...... smiles, life is good and I am so thankful to be surrounded by people near and far who care for me.
I owe lots of emails and postcards and facebook messages to my friends here, I will make a start on them this week
