Status: offline 		My subs are forbidden to wear 'tidy-whities' type:  such buzz-killers.  Otherwise depends on the sub:  some look best commando under tight jeans, some in tight boxer/briefs under tuxedo pants, some in thongs with the velcro-release on the side, but all appreciate a pair of sober-looking but sensual silk boxers. 
The look on the face of a vanilla sub presented with his first pair of silk boxers then models is priceless ... and I love telling them to pull on a pair of jeans and come for a walk, but they're forbidden to become erect.  Some walks were extremely short, and others laden with phrases like, 'Excuse me, Mistress, I have to sit on this cold bench and uncross my eyes'.

I have to mail order anything or shop when I visit San Francisco or the Portland/Seattle areas. I love lingerie and make it a large part of my life. I must say, Leatherist, you have me curious as to some of your artwork. I would love to see some of it.

Tantriqu, when I first got married, that was the first thing I helped the new husband lose. However, I've heard that since the divorce, he's gone back to them. It's one of the things I look for when I play with someone - it gives me an idea of what I have to work with. Tidy-whities may mean some repressions or hang-ups that we'll have to work through. Or a trip to a clothing store and a discussion of my preferences. *grin*

I thought it was the time of year, maybe, or that it was close to valentine's day.  Asked store clerks at every store, and all of them told me that they don't carry anything like that anymore.  They used to (I know!  Bought a bustier at Target last year!) but they now just carry the "basic stuff."  I wouldn't wear any of this to a worm wrestle.  Even our local chapter of Victoria's secret was out of anything but the basics.

I ended up going to every single major retailer in this town.  None of them had anything but "basics."  and then usually an extremely limited selection.  Eek...have to go to Chicago to find anything decent.  Dammit.

don't you have boot sales? yard sales? charity shops? flea markets?
i sometimes even find thirties corests and victorian lace or is that just here in England?
i love hooks and eyes and things that get so exasperating to get off He really does tear at it...mmmmmm
