CalifChick -> RE: Bra sizing? (2/26/2008 9:16:51 PM)

It is very clear that the bra you are wearing in that picture does not fit. The middle portion, that comes up between the breasts, should be flat or nearly flat against your breastbone. To properly measure for a bra, it is important that you take measurements in front of a mirror, to make sure that the tape measure is level. Measure under your breasts and add 5 inches. This is your band size. If it is an odd number, go up to the next even number. Then measure across the fullest part of your breasts, and subtract that from your band size (not the actual measurement, but the number after you added 5). The difference is the cup size. Here is the chart for that: 1/2 inch - AA 1 inch - A 2 inches - B 3 inches - C 4 inches - D 5 inches - DD or E (same thing) 6 inches - F 7 inches - G You might want to recheck your measurements, because according to the chart, you are a 50A, which you obviously are not. One reason it's important to measure in a mirror (or allow someone else to measure you). Also, I suspect your measurements are off because you are wearing a poorly fitting bra in that picture. If your back and shoulders are not broad, I would suspect you probably wear a 46C or 48C. Cali
