My sub has been transferred via her company to another state, so I am once again searching. Any tips on things to watch out for when choosing a sub?

Forget the titles and work on choosing a PERSON you wish to be with. The D/s can come later, assuming you are both interested in it, but if you are selecting someone for the title they have and not the person they are you are going to have a really hard time finding a good fit.  Don't forget, this is  a relationship you are starting, not furnishing your house.
And the s-type you court (not necessarily choose, court) has to want to be yours as well. Dont forget about the other side of the coin.

Jeffff -> RE: Tips on Choosing a sub? (2/21/2008 6:04:48 AM)

The choice is secondary. Just make sure you get a receipt. Otherwise they are non returnable

scribble one in green crayon on a page ripped out of a spiral notebook and don't trim the edges.  it will work.

Can't. My dog ate the green crayon.

Wow she was really devoted to you,
leaving to another state and all.

It would depend on what you like?

Maybe you would want someone like her
only being able to know that she wouldn't leave you.

Quizno's has the hottest subs!

Tip: Blow on it first to avoid burning your tongue.

ghitaPVH -> RE: Tips on Choosing a sub? (2/21/2008 9:49:35 AM)

Frikkin A. Now Im gonna have to stop for subs in town, yall got me all jonesing for one and Ive been good and havent had bread in a month. Yall are just cruel.

Anyway, to the OP. Are you really that pathetic that you are incapable of deciding for yourself if someone is a good match for you or not? How the hell do you manage to live a daily life if you have to come online everytime a new person tries to interact with you and you need to get advice about whether or not they might make a good friend or if you should trust them.

ANyway, if you really are that pathetic..here are my only peices of advice. Go hunt for a mute toothless midget with a flat head. They really make the best subs. Actually, quizos makes the best subs, much better than subway, and if you are ever anywhere near Ocala florida, there is this little hole in the wall place called Jan and Als that has absolutly WONDERFUl philly cheestake subs. Yea, something tells me the boys and I are headed there for lunch.

MadRabbit -> RE: Tips on Choosing a sub? (2/21/2008 9:53:50 AM)

I would learn from the experience and invest in one with some kind of warranty policy so you can compensation the next time she leaves you.

I mean, come on, dude.

You invest a month with her, she packed up and left, and now you have nothing to show for your time.

I mean, if you had a car for a month and it crapped out on you, you would be expecting some kind of compensation for your time and trouble, right?

In addition to that, with a good warranty, you won't have to choose a new one! You'll have a replacement the next day as covered by the warranty!

You gotta be smart when browsing the market.

Don't skimp on the extras either. Get that model with the A/C and the music player. You can afford it.

Think ahead. You get sweaty while whipping her ass. Won't you want a way to stay cool while doing the work? Not to mention, with that music player, you'll never have to worry about lugging around a boombox for scene music.

ghitaPVH -> RE: Tips on Choosing a sub? (2/21/2008 9:55:51 AM)

you know, its still financially feasible to go for the slightly used model...they depriciate sooooo dagum far the instant you take a new one around the block.

Yeah, really. Everyone wants the new ones. Why fight over em, I say? You get maybe three months before the new leather wears out and the engine isn't running off the same bullshit you fed it before. I say just wait and avoid the rush.

knees2you -> RE: Tips on Choosing a sub? (2/21/2008 10:59:00 AM)

I'm sorry about what I wrote.
I'm not here to affend anybody.

Just read the question and answerd
it with my head, not necssarily my Heart.

I realize that sometimes Masters and submissives
make arrangements, preparing themselves incase one has to leave.

Really, you are not choosing the sub, the sub is choosing you. You cant club her over the head and drag her home until she gives the green light. So remember to mind your p's and your q's.

More like they choose each other. That whole mutual consent thing.

all smart assed comments aside (cause i was going to post one too) this is really good advice...i have been having one of the best relationships of my life recently because it wasn't started based on D/s...yes he's Dominant (i don't attract nilla or submissive guys...i just don't)...but i met him in a different group...where we don't have titles...and the D/s is coming slowly, so slowly it is driving me nuts...but it is starting with a foundation that is looking pretty damned solid...so we'll see...

and i can be a foot stool later...

chelle
