I've been told; "Age is always important, so its never going to work" "You're not submissive, you're just pretending" "You're not weak enough to be a submissive!" "You're a dom pretending to be a sub." And those are just a few examples. Since when are Submissives weak!? We support our Masters/Doms!

forgot to add - i was told by a local dominant that i would have to choose between my UMs and being a submissive - he said there's no way i could be both. his reasoning was (a) he would have to come before my UMs at all times, (b) a single mother had no place as a submissive in BDSM because all of my time will be devoted to them not the dominant, (c) he wasn't looking to be a father to any woman's UMs and/or raising them. i stopped all communication after telling him that he was more of a spoiled brat than a dominant because i'm able to be mother, submissive, band/music reviewer, etc etc all at the same time. plus i also said nowhere in my messages to him did i ever mention being a father or raising mine ...i'm doing a fantastic job without my ex or any other male figure.
