McCain would beat Hillary and Obama. Dems might not want to get cocky just yet. Why shouldn't they feel "cocky"? If Senator McCain fronts the Republican ticket, they'll have a 'Democrat' in the White House regardless. Senator McCain, as represented on his policy regarding criminal amnesty, financially limiting access to the electoral process; is a more traditional Democrat than either Senators Clinton or Obama. In some ways Senators Clinton and Obama represent 'Republican' trademarks when you look at their financial backers and personal business history. Have any of you managed to turn $1,000 into $6,300 overnight and ultimately $100,000 in 10 months? Senator Clinton did. Sometimes she didn't even have to invest - other people decided to shift some money over to her to skip the 'risky' investment part of the transaction. (Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/whitewater/stories/wwtr940527.htm ) But that was long ago and enough of the US citizenry has been "left behind" in Senator Clinton's "village" and wouldn't understand the implications even if they could read. Then there are Senator Clinton's close Corporate ties, Walmart for instance, and PAC affiliations. Richard Nixon would be jealous of those roots with 'deep pockets', as well as her predilection to 'dirty' tactics and direct attacks on her opponents from close political ties. Imagine what she can do once given access and the ability to direct IRS investigations! Today - My support leans toward Senator Obama. Merc has a point. I`m actually ok whith McCain as president and wouldn`t be upset at all. I think I prove Merc`s point.Lol. McCain would at least show up,pay attention and follow the Constitution. That`s job 1,2,and 3,right there. You do know that McCain wants to expand America's military and invade Iran, right? You are OK with that? Sure he may have a few liberal ideas domestically...but he is terrible with the economy and his foreign policy is even more radical than Bush's.
