I’m just annoyed I have more razor blade handles than actual razor blades. Every year someone gets me a new razor blade handle which comes with two blades and then I’m having to buy a new set of different blades. They should make these things universal but then there wouldn’t be innovation I suppose. I would never trust myself with a straight razor even when I cut myself with a safety type my face leaks blood for hours afterwards. Remember it’s up down not side to side. The point is I’m in too much of a hurry for a straight razor and I’d end up probably cutting my throat open in the hurry to beat my getting ready for work record.

Anyone noticed how they are adding more and more blades to safety razors? In 2010 you’re going to have to be a weight lifter to pick up the next generation safety razor containing billions of blades.

The one that 'sweeney' has is a particularly nasty type, well less forgiving for learners. I believe it is called a spike blade type.

Oh, it was Gillette that made the first disposable razor, somewhere around the start of the twentieth century, yes, they can be quicker and more forgiving, but the shave suffers. I suppose he in exchange for business was offering people convenience at the cost of skill.

If modern disposable razors are having more and more blades in their design, does'nt it say something?

(Looks to the future, the way modern razors are going, I can see a two gang lawn mower as a razor soon!)
