Gah, the more I have, the more possibilities of losing them . . . . . I lost one last winter & it sucks & I have to work at keeping my anxiety levels reasonable these days . . . . My grama has outlived 2 of her 4 children, & that sucks . . . . . . I've given my offspring orders that they are to outlive me, cuz that's one of my worst fears, now . . . .

TPBM shares a great joy . . . .

HatesParisHilton -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/18/2009 9:01:39 PM)

Encountering you.

I DARE you to even ATTEMPT painting that as a suck up.

TPBM has , on occasion, been feeling really down about themselves, then came across something they did YEARRRRRRRRRRRRS ago, that still "holds up" (even if just a reply to a post or greeting card you designed) and realized...

"Hey.  Yeah.  I AM a good person, I DO make things a little better in this fucked up universe..."

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/18/2009 9:25:43 PM)

lol

I live with two out of three of my adult offspring -- they are all both my 'biggest mistake' (unwed teen mom on welfare) & my greatest achievement . . ..

TPBM likes comic books, & shares some of their favorites, if so . . . .

HatesParisHilton -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/18/2009 9:32:42 PM)

oh, this will take a moment considering what I said on the AAZ fictional thread and Muxic Mystery just chimed in...

short list then long list

The Spirit (original)
FF (from '63 to '69)
Nick Fury (when done by Steranko)
anything Kirby from '63-70
The initial Conans by Barry Windsor Smith
D'arc Tangent (Folio; don;t ask)

more VERY soon,

TPBM "gets" comics and sometimes realizes that if writing/creative demands on TV and Hollywood were as stringent upon the silver screen and small screen as they were on comics, there's be MUCH BETTER TV and films out there more regularly

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/18/2009 9:56:04 PM)

Yeah, it's more of a renegade / indie kinda thing as compared to film / teevee, much smaller audiences can lead to better servicing the needs of said audience .. . .

TPBM sometimes has trouble coming up with the next question or statement in these games . . . .

HatesParisHilton -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 12:20:08 AM)

yes, but not in THIS case (line got cut off from an overseas call; in all other cases, yes, MY fault).

tpbm  is TOLERANT of people whom enjoy BAD remakes pf GOOD films, but they theselves grit their teeth over such "Gus Van Zant" style tripo-matic faire.

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 2:52:34 AM)

Sometimes, sometimes I like 'bad' flicks . . . .

TPBM tells what they think or feel about ventriloquism & ventriloquist dummies . . . .

Level -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 3:56:21 AM)

I hate the dummies.... they creep me out LOL.

TPBM is going to a concert in the next 30 days.

intenze -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 7:21:27 AM)

No, I stopped going to concerts when I paid 100 bucks to see David Bowie, could not see him at all, just a screen, and a 15 year old puked on me.
TPBM has an almost embarassingly large collection of music, and has one band that occupies most of it...

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 9:07:00 AM)

False.  Not much of a music collector.

TPBM likes going to art museums.

dcnovice -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 9:09:35 AM)

TPBM knows how to surf.

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/19/2009 10:01:58 PM)

Nope, but I've always wanted to learn . ... . I love to watch surfing . .. .

TPBM likes to get naked . . . .

dcnovice -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/21/2009 8:46:29 AM)

TPBM sunburns easily.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/21/2009 10:22:20 AM)

So very true.  Sun screen is my friend.

TPBM has been to a funeral within the last year.

dcnovice -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/21/2009 1:45:26 PM)

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/21/2009 4:49:02 PM)

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/24/2009 7:01:35 PM)

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/24/2009 7:02:50 PM)

Yes, I love recipes from my new Weight Watchers cookbook.

TPBM attends church regularly.

fluffypet61 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/24/2009 7:07:50 PM)

(Oh, Mystic, do you have the "Hit the Spot" one?)

i would attend more often if i didn't have to take a cab to get there.  i used to sing in the choir and go every week.

TPBM likes to travel on planes and stay in hotels.

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/24/2009 7:51:21 PM)

I do that very very rarely, so it's an extra special treat when I do . . . . . [:D]

TPBM owns lingerie or other sexxxy clothes, for self or others . . . ..
