TPBM has a pet & tells about it . .. .

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 10:29:28 AM)

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 7:46:23 PM)

I've had tropical island living fantasies most of my life . . . . Went to Hawaii when I was a youngun . . . . . Have the hots for going to Kauai & Moorea . . . . .

TPBM tells how they feel about the desert, any desert . . . .

sappatoti -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 8:05:12 PM)

They're hot. They're dry. They give me headaches. Seriously, serious ones.

TPBM has been caught in some quickly developing unusual weather while enjoying some outdoor activity far from shelter.

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 8:14:17 PM)

Sure. I like to ride my bicycle in the rain, & it's not always when I want it to be . ...

TPBM tells what they think about the ocean . .. .

HatesParisHilton -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 8:32:03 PM)

MOTHER, biggest and best Goddess, Greatest Mystery, first Storyteller, and 5 minutes walk away, thanks to her gift of waves, bodysurfing that is the First, Best and Free rollercoaster/sledding in Summer.

CAN'T LIVE AWAY FROM HER now.

TPBM  has actually SEEN a face form in the flames of a fireplace, even if only for a microsecons, the kind that no geek can ever truly fake despite the most expensive software available.

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 10:44:12 PM)

Oodles & oodles of time. I see faces in all kinds of things -- the leaves in trees, the patterns of dirt, rock, & clouds, & most definitely have seen all kinds of stuff in fires . . . The faerie people say that's 'seeing faeries', but I always figured it was just part of being imaginative . . . . .

TPBM shares their thoughts about mountains . . .. .

HatesParisHilton -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 11:39:23 PM)

you are gonna kill my typing fingers tonight...

They are the Uncles and brothers as Mama Sea is the Ocean.  They Guard but never condemn but take no shit, if you are not tuff enough to climb then stay the fuck down in the foothills and steps.  They roar and sing to inspire us to remember what it means to be a good and strong man and sometimes rumble with a Godzilla laugh that demands we actucally, as men or women that have to live with men, HAVE to bother to come up with some new definitions of "strong and good RE male" OURSELVES.

and they laugh at us thinking they are staid and motionless, considering the things they hide in their caves nd what comes out after tey get the shits with us and "avalanche" our sorry narcissistic arses.

sappatoti -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/14/2009 11:46:59 PM)

I cannot speak about all mountains for I have not met most of them. The mountains that I know are the Adirondacks and it is they who sing out to my soul. Despite the fact that I am nowhere near my beloved and well-worn peaks, I hear their siren call. One day, I will again tread lightly upon those trails that I spent many days and weeks calling "home." Their silence is enormous; yet intimately calming. Not the highest of peaks in the world but they do hold so many stories of those early settlers and residents. Stories of the triumphs of living in harsh conditions and stories of those who suffered the ultimate end. Stories of the history of the birth of these United States, along with the much earlier stories of the Iroquois Nation. The grand scenic beauty of high peaks reflecting off the surface of a mirror-black lake. And the searing call of the lone eagle as it prowls through the valleys and over the peaks... calling out its sentry cries as those below know that all is well. Those are the mountains of which I know.

TPBM has their own special ties with a place in Nature...

HPH & Sappa: [sm=applause.gif] [sm=applause.gif] [sm=applause.gif]

Yep. Actually, all of it. But especially trees, these days. Ever since I read 'The Secret Life of Plants' I've been seeing trees with new eyes, as the 'twoo' repository of old souls, watching over us & loving us, lol . . .. . I started thinking of plants as the most buddhist of life forms . . . .. Silly hippie chick, that's me . .. .

TPBM shares some silly, weird, or unusual belief they have . . . . .

sappatoti -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 4:21:08 PM)

I'm thinking the World isn't 6000 years old. I'm also thinking the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. I'm thinking those things because neither the World nor the Earth exist... they and everyone in it are manifestations of a dream gone seriously wild.

Maybe one day I'll wake up...

TPBM will be taking a long, relaxing bath in a hot tub this evening, complete with tub-side bartending services and scantily clad servers.

pissthirstysub -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 4:26:54 PM)

except, I am my own bartender and scantly clad server. The rest sounds lovely!
TPBM needs a vacation

Level -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 4:54:30 PM)

Yes, badly.

TPBM has never went on a proper vacation.

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 8:18:05 PM)

Nope. Gone on plenty. I'm a firm believer in vacay time . . . . .

TPBM tells what book they're reading these days . . . .

intenze -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 8:22:56 PM)

Bill Bryson: " A Short History of Nearly Everything" Darned good read.
TPBM is a book junkie and has how many books in their house?

pissthirstysub -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 8:31:11 PM)

I have no idea...
TPBM alphabatizes everything

DemonKia -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 8:45:17 PM)

A lot of things, but I really try to limit my OCD tendencies . . .. I do want to alphabetize everything sometimes . . .

TPBM wants to be more organized . . . .

KneelforAnne -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 9:23:37 PM)

My dream is to have a whole entire room with shelves, and on those shelves will be large rubbermaid bins that are labled with what is inside them....and the labels .... are..... correct!

THAT is how organized I WANT to be.

~

TPBM has their underwear drawer organized according to color.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (7/15/2009 9:33:54 PM)

False.

TPBM has painted toenails.
