I am pretty sure the person who gave me the asignment knows how to do this..He is looking to see if i can find out on my own and wants to see how much effort i put into finding the right answer.

I hope the person who gave you the assignment knows how to do this or how would they know if you done it correctly?

I should think that if he does not know the answer than the assignment may be in her taking the time to learn it. If not, then it is IMHO self sabotage, and that is what I would call a train wreck waiting to happen. Here's to you choosing the right answer to this. Sometimes Dominants can be sneeky in their orders *s* and other times Dominants just want to test their subs. But then again, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar <s>

how soon do you need the answer?

My nephew is in the air force and i can ask him (but he's sleeping now and it's the middle of the day for me)... i'm happy to call him....

peace

I was not given a deadline time to have it done but one would assume asap.

Thankfully Master taught me how he liked his underwear, t-shirts and socks folded when we first got together. It was a pain in the but at first, but over time it became a habit and I fold all our under things that way unless its something a bit more lacey and slutty.

tempest74 -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 5:22:05 AM)

Have you considered a retirement type home?  Retired vets there, probably would LOVE to talk about their old training days, and you could visit someone who could use a little company at the same time - you succeed in your task and you get to do a good deed.

Sabella -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 7:17:37 AM)

That is an interesting assignment :) I never knew my haphazard way of folding clothes wasn't the way he did it until one day he helped me fold clothes. TOTALLY different. So I started doing it his way and they are much neater and with the shirts especially it's easier to identify what it is and there is no crease down the middle. Other than dress socks which are matched up everything else is identical white crew socks that are tossed in a pile in a drawer.

Shirts have the left & right 1/3 folded back, and then the bottom 1/3 folded up and then again leaving a tidy folded shirt with the collar and front top & center of the shirt flat. Collared shirts are only folded once instead of twice so it looks like a packaged shirt if you can get the visual. Underwear are folded kind of the same way, right & left 1/3 folded back and then bottom 1/2 folded back. I have no idea if this is any particular military "way" tho he was in the Army. This is just the way he likes them folded. Anything remotely "dress" is hung, not folded.

ghitaPVH -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 8:25:40 AM)

Doesnt seem like a silly assignment to me at all...pretty much my very first assignment ever was to learn "laundry per the USMC".

When you enter basic training they usually hand you a peice of paper with all that info on it, dimensions of folded laundry, distance between hangers in closet, that sort of thing, see if your local recruitment office can get you one of those sheets.

SeeksOnlyOne -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 8:33:05 AM)

i know in the army we had to roll everything, not fold it.......i really thought all the branches of the military did that.....i shall try google.

ghitaPVH -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 8:42:06 AM)

Marines roll for packing, fold for drawers and lockers....dont know anything about Air Force.

sakidorei -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 9:44:31 AM)

i did a little checking around online and called Master this morning as He was an USAF Officer but essentially discovered that recently AF guidelines seem to have changed.  i found multiple references for rolling now instead of folding whereas in the past the Air Force was notorious for it's specs in precisely folding each article of clothing.  Soooo perhaps you could go back to your Dom and at least find out if He wants the latest standards or if He wishes some prior standard for your learning.

The next step i would take after that is to call an AF recruiter ... they answer the craziest questions anyway and will likely bring you up to speed quicker than most.

Good luck!

That's the basics, the rest is about aligning seams properly.

This works best with new clothes, and after several washings nobody pays as much attention to the seams.

Of course I was in the Nav, not a zoomie, and sailors aren't real big on all that dicipline stuff. Seabag inspections are punishment in the fleet, not a routine thing, so I've pretty much forgotten the details, and even then they tend to be looking for whether you have a full kit or not, unless you get dealt a real retent.

Now labeling your clothes is another thing they make you do, and it's another precision operation, and would require a manual of it's own.

SirMichealspeach -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 10:17:22 AM)

A Friend of Ours is in the airforce and says He still folds His stuff the way they learned in basic soooo..He turned on His webcam and showed me how to do it the way He does...Tshirts, underwear are done in 6in squares and socks are rolled.. I have gone through all the dressers and done this to all the clothes there.
Just to clarify something:  Master is not the one persay that instructed this assignment.. He has been talking to a Dom friend of His and they were discussing the lack of structure in my day being that I have been home the past yr and a half now with school. The Dom friend suggested this assignment and Master thought it would be interesting to see how I handled it so this is how the assignment came to be.
I have to say though.. I have quite enjoyed the research and follow through. I have been busy for 3 days now getting all the closets and dressers in order and they look great I must say. Master is very pleased with the outcome and I hope the other Dom is also.
I would like to thank You all for the information and input.I hope to get more challengeing assignments in the future.

Thanks again
SirMichealspeach

darkpassenger434 -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 11:12:13 AM)

I would suggest finding an air force recruiting station. If you aren't interested in really explaining why, tell them you are a writer and want the details right for a story. If you're lucky the recruiter will have someone there working to get free leave after basic. They should be able to show you all you need to know.

domiguy -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 11:21:12 AM)

And you call yourself a sub? Folding socks?

I made my sub disarm three M18A1 Claymore Mines in under four minutes....I guess some people just don't try to bring out the best in their subs. We live in a world where those who have managed to learn to tread water in the sea of low expectations are kings.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 4:13:12 PM)

Did you have to show him your boobs? :)

batshalom -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 4:14:17 PM)

Were you talking to Domi?

SirMichealspeach -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 4:46:05 PM)

lol LA ..no i didin't have to show Him my boobs...and no batshalom i was not talking to Domiguy, I have nothing to say to people that continually have a need to show their Ass when they probably have no clue..would be nice if when people don't have anything nice to say to just be quiet.

Did you record the video or just watch it?  I would love to see it!

thisgirl72 -> RE: my latest assignment (1/4/2008 8:34:37 PM)

I found this info from this document http://web.mit.edu/activities/afrotc/wing/reference/Field%20Training%20Manual.pdf

(3) T-shirts. All T-shirts are folded the same way. Lay the T-shirt flat with neck down and to the right. Fold each sleeve toward center, squaring the shirt. Keeping the neck centered, start with side closest to you and fold each side toward the center, until it is approximately six inches wide. Fold T-shirt in half from left to right twice.
