ghita pay heed here. I agree with LA. When I was a volunteer for a no-kill animal shelter for a few years, this is the only time we saw cats go into heat symptoms when they were supposedly spayed. What is worse, if enough is left behind, they can get pregnant and the pregancy possible be complicated enough to kill them. Keep those cats indoors and away from males until you get confirmation. Take them back to the clinic they were spayed at, and tell them what is occuring. If I remember you and your Sir are here in Georgia as well. If you need assistance in finding a good clinic, send me some CMail with the areas you frequent, and I will check with the charity I used to volunteer at and find out who in your area is in the network. Edited to add this link for confirmation on what LA and I are saying: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Cats-1606/spayed-cat-heat.htm quote:
ORIGINAL: LuckyAlbatross Actually I'd say get them checked out. A friend of mine had her cat done and the cat still went into heat- turns out the surgeon had left an ovary and lots of other bits of tissue still in the body.
