ORIGINAL: juliaoceania I was a smoker for 23 years and when I finally quit I thought the harm I had done might be irreparable. I know the difference between feeling like I have one foot on a banana peel and one foot in the grave and feeling vitality. I am thankful that I still have my health juliaoceania, I have a ton of friends who did Botox, Restylane, eye jobs, you name it (NYC, say no more?). The worst thing for skin is smoking, so thank god you quit. Thankfully, I have perfect skin, and I intend on keeping it that way. I use SPF 30 every day, even to get the mail. Genes play a big part in women's wrinkles, no one believes it, but they do. You can buy $1000 cream and it won't do crap. Or, you could be like my mom who uses Vaseline Intensive Care only and she has hardly any wrinkles and she is in her 70's. The peels are risky for burning; the Botox is painful I hear and you need to keep it up every 3-4 months for results. There are lasers, but that is also expensive and who knows what they do. I am not being facetious here, but if you only have that one line between your brow and it really bothers you, get bangs. It is the greatest thing a woman can do who has that going on. A major NY hairdresser said it was a best-kept secret.
