OMG not this garbage again......Look Back in 2001 every single one of you where howling for blood and ready to go to war, now that the whole thing has gone to pot your blaming Bush. Now its true he's screwed up pleanty, but if it was Gore in the White House you'd be blaming him. Every body screws up we're only human, but to take a mistake (talking to the voters on this one) and and try to rectify it like this is just adding fuel to the fire.

As you can tell by my past posts I am no fan of President Bush BUT….The time required for the impeachment process, especially since the Republicans will fight it, is longer then his remaining time in office. This initiative would just hobble congress more than it is now. Important legislation will be put on the back burner again.

I think the Democratic Congress effectively controls Bush and changes will be forthcoming after the election.

People are tired of all the fighting and want Congress to work together for our common good… If the Democrats start an impeachment process it will backfire and we may have another 4 years of Republican rule.

If you won't impeach for High Crimes and Misdemeanors, that means that YOU'VE GIVEN THE EXECUTIVE CARTE BLANCHE.

What WON'T they do, secure in the knowledge that they are above the law?

Haven't we learned by now that petitions are a complete waste of time? A list of signatures from the little people never have done nor will do a damn thing.

If the little people want something done that's against the will of Corporations and Big Wigs, they'll have to resort to the methods of the French Revolution.

Anyways, what's the point of impeaching Bush now? He only has a little over a year left in office. If a petition was to actully work and the voteing began, G.W's term would already be over before it was all said and done. So no matter how you look at it, it's just a bunch of political bull shit.

{pushes people out of the way to sign the petition}

The Monkey lied, LOTS of people are needlessly being killed {war is ALWAYS needless} and he hasn't apologized for being a moron.

Petitions DO work; I sign about 100 to 200 a year {yes, their are that many different ones a year in my area} and I have seen changes since I started signing the petitions; if you don't sign them or vote then shut the f*** up and stop complaining.  People who sign petitions and vote ARE the democratic process, not the people who complain about it; those are the people who should NOT be able to vote.

Sign and vote or shut up.

1) It doesnt cost 3000 dead soldgires
2) It doesnt cost 80% of all the solders coming back with gulf war syndrome. (uranium 238 radiation poisoning.
3) It doesnt cost 1million dead iraqis
4) It doesnt cost  me 10 trillion bucks
5) It doesnt cost giving up literally all my liberties.

I wonder how many of the ''common people'' can even define the word impeach as some 90% when asked on the street didn't know where Washington DC is. No I don't give a shit about folk's rantings at this stage of a Presidency. Some people around here are bigger loons than those in ''power.''  Go pitch a fit on a streetcorner where maybe someone who cares will listen as you 3 seem to love to stir and cannot seem to have a non-argumentative discussion upon any topic from all I have read of your writings.

I have to agree with joanus, this country cheered when it was announced that 9/11 was an act of war and the foot had to come down on terrorism. The cry went out to ''get the bastards'' and now it seems more than a few want to rant because it didn't work as expected, though how something could be pre-expected I do not know.

But remember this. You have a right to post this shit and stir conspiracy theories, nonsense and espouse crap and those who disagree with you have just as much right to their view as well. You want to live free and out from under big wigs? You'd do well to first remember that your rights end where my (someone else's) nose begins.

Sounds like a whole lot of belief and not a whole lot of proof going on here and pink don't forget your apology the other day for tossing hoax into the wind regarding Zeitgeist and then having to retract it. Debate and discuss in a non-inflamatory way I will do but argue with any of you 3 I will never allow myself to become a party to.

Do Have a Nice Night,

EG

Geez i havent had an inflamatory moment since i had an infected tooth a few years back.

The problem you run into making statements about "conspiracy theories" is that it is way past the point of theory and has long since been conspiracy fact.  You can close your eyes to it if you like but senators have argued the point on cspan and every day more experts come forward to stand up against the governments conspriacy theory.  Hell if the evidence were ever to be presented in a real court half this government would hang.

As far as joanus is concerned sure i agree with joanus too.  people all waved their flags and said kill the dirty sunza bitches,  at least till we found out we were lied too.

Since you sorta still have the right to make up your own mind you sorta have the right to forgive the government for anything and everything if you like.  i guess i am one of those that are not so forgiving when i pay people enourmous sums of money to take care of the peoples business and they fail on all accounts. (whether by design or accident)

Did the "common people" know anything more(or less) about Washington DC`s location  or "impeachment",during Clinton`s failed impeachment?

No.

But it when ahead, anyway. Were you upset by that?Doubt it.

A couple misconceptions here.

this country cheered when it was announced that 9/11 was an act of war and the foot had to come down on terrorism. The cry went out to ''get the bastards''

Of course we did,it`s only natural. When I saw our soldiers land in Afghanistan just weeks after 9/11,I cheered to.It is a righteous war.

It`s the "other" war, that people are upset about, and that`s perfectly natural too.The neo-cons subverting our natural tendency to fight back, and tricking us into attacking and invading Iraq,is the source of the anger. And it is a justified anger. One that won`t go away, any time soon.

You want to live free and out from under big wigs? You'd do well to first remember that your rights end where my (someone else's) nose begins.

My rights,my freedom, have nothing to do with you,and visa-verse.Why are you even bringing this up?It goes without saying, anyway.

My not wanting the "big wigs"(lol) f`ing w/ me ,is not your concern.People will express themselves about the "bigwigs"here,on the " street corner",the water cooler, the lunchroom,or anywhere they like,TYVM.

"But remember this",unless you`re a "bigwig"(maybe you think so), we`ll post and argue the issues of war and peace, justice and the will of "the common people"without your permission.

I placed ''common'' in quotes as it was used previously here and was referring to the usage of that term and my not liking it so much. Besides, Owner, the post in general was not to you. It would be wisest if all folks would not place words in the mouths of others nor tell others how they think or feel about themselves. You know nothing of how I regard myself and very few here ever will know. You also have no idea how I felt about Clinton's impeachment.

I also stated that I, that means me, will not argue with certain persons whose majority posts on these boards are solely argumentative, nor do I enjoy arguing with anyone. As I said, debate and discussion is fine though too many of the board pages are simply page after page of flaming. I will not be a party to that sort of thing. I was quite clear though am happy to explain what was and is not understood regarding any post I make here on the boards. As to rights, freedoms and the responsibility that comes with, yes, we should all understand and have the premise go without saying, however, some in this world seem to forget about it.

Than what business does the US have to tell *any* nation how they should conduct their affairs, if the US is so blatantly ignoring it's own Laws?

I feel that we are now simply beating a dead horse.

Q:Why should we not Impeach Bush?
A: Because as stated above he will be out of the white house before the petition even gets to Washington. It will take for ever not to mention there will be still more petitions to the contrary, and it will cost us millions in tax dollars.

Be glad Realone that I'm not the incharge, cause we'd end up being the next Canada. *waves Maple Leaf flag*

Owner59 wether or not you want the "big wigs" fucking with you is not your choice, it theirs. And if the so chose they will bend you over and ass rape you. Why? Because thats what they do. If your not born one of the privlaged Elite, get use to bending over and by pleanty of lube because their gonna do it your whole life. Thats why we call them "the man".

So lets put down our sticks and leave the poor horse alone. Nothing we say or do (short of killing Bush) will change anything, this includes your petition signers.

i'm sick and tired of hearing there's no practical value to impeaching Bush.  Most P/pl agree The Shrub is subject to impeachment; why are the dems so lazy or afraid to go after him?
