ORIGINAL: SDFemDom4cuck I'm hoping this is 7 of 7 otherwise I missed one of the polls. Some of them I think of more as 80;s bands. Heart, Van Halen, ACDC. Awesome job Level. our resident jukebox! Damn, I knew I should have paid more attention in math class... LOL There are only seven. I do understand how some bands represent different eras for different people... I tried to match the bands with the time frame that they made not only a major impact on music, but on me. AC/DC in the 80s, to me, is Brian Johnson, and not up to the music they made with Bon Scott. Van Halen debut in 1978 will forever be burned into my mind, any time I think of them, despite making lots of great music in the 80s. As always, thanks to all for their comments, and votes. Or perhaps it's just the eras I attribute them to because of the personal memories I associate with certain songs. I went with Fleetwood Mac personally because I didn't learn to appreciate Queen until much later in life. So I try to associate the time frame given with the particular bands I listened to at the time. I was actually a little suprised not to see Simon and Garfunkle on any of the lists. Being that I was born in the mid 60's my musical influence at the time was based on what I heard around the house more often than anything else. Or maybe because I was told I resembled Stevie Nicks on several occasions when I was younger. LOL.
