If by "cat house" you mean "brothel", that's not what the Lady Heather character's business was. Neither did they only show professionals (as if that'd make the content of the show somehow deficient): they showed numerous clients, and it was strongly suggested that Grissom had a very clear understanding of and sympathy towards BDSM.
