MadameMarque -> RE: McDonalds must pay for strip search hoax (10/6/2007 7:16:48 AM)

But did you see any of the reports on this incident? The real offense was the criminal abuse of the girl, by her supervisors and co-workers, while acting in their capacity as McDonald's employees. It's the most insane thing you ever saw. You wouldn't believe people could behave this way, when only minutes earlier, they were just going about a normal day. Her female supervisor refused to allow her to leave or get dressed, or even to take her to the police station, which the girl begged her to do, after she was strip searched for a woman's purse the caller claimed the girl had stolen (?) The supervisor also brought a male co-worker back, to witness some of this. Then, the supervisor brought in her fiance', who wasn't even an employee, a middle-aged man twice the size of the girl, to force her to remain in the back room, with him. He forced her to perform exercises, nude, in front of him, assaulted her and then forced her to perform oral sex on him. This went on for almost three hours! All along, the supervisor was coming in and out of the room. Eventually, the supervisor brought in yet another man, the janitor, and when he saw what was going on, he wasn't having any of it. The only person with a grain of common decency or sense, in the bunch - the janitor at McDonalds. It's all on video - and not that grainy, indecipherable convenience store video, either. One surprising thing, to me, is that the supervisor apparently wasn't aware that they were under surveillance, during the entire insane situation. When they interviewed her, they showed the supervisor a moment on the tape, when the girl came and huddled next to her, leaning her head on the older woman's shoulder. According the girl, she was begging in the woman's ear, to please save her, help her. The supervisor said to the interviewer, "No, she wasn't. She wasn't saying that." In the tape, she shrugged her off, and bustled back out of the room. And how was the supervisor treated, for her role in this? Not a day in jail. One year's probation. And,....wait for it... the supervisor got one million dollars, in a settlement to her lawsuit againt McDonald's. "If it’s all dreams Now wake me up If it’s all real Just kill me" - Miyavi
