ASPCA

Humane Society

Local Animal Shelter

Just a few of the upscale places i like to stay when traveling.

Have met a few nice kittens while vacationing there.

There are all kinds of cats. What do you want, and how much are you willing to spend? I had the opportunity to buy some Bobcat mix kittens a few years ago, I'll bet I could still locate some. I had a friend growing up who was given a pure Manx

http://www.petinfo4u.com/images/manx.gif

He was a cool cat but the thing was, he took off immediately and was only seen thereafter from a distance. Kittens from his loins (or perhaps from another Manx) began coming around in the ensuing years, and I own one descendants today, a large black stub-tailed cat I call Damnit Jr.

If you ever met him you would know why he's called Damnit. Quite a cat... but those claws. Ouch!

There are all kinds of cats though. I absolutely hate Siamese cats because of their constant annoying meows. There was even a family near where I live who owned a mountain lion, but that didn't work out very well.

sasebluburfly,
I just posted this in another thread and now I see more of the same. What's happening with Collarme?

quote:

"BUY A PUPPY~!" What kind of sadistic evil individual would suggest such a thing! A puppy isn't a pet - he/she should be 'free range' to live as the creator intended and not be a replacement or a cure for some sick twisted psychological issue!

I'd bet you'd also walk the puppy around with a collar at the end of a leash! My GOD - What if children see this disgusting behavior?! Next you'll be training them to defecate and pee in public! Even if the puppy has given consent that doesn't mean you have to subject the general public to the practice of your perversion!

Haven't you read the PETA thread!?
FREE the PUPPIES!

"Finding a kitten"! As if there are kittens just waiting and wanting to be "found". You probably want to pet it, feed it, and make sure it was safe and protected. In the wild kittens/cats live an average of 18 months. As a pet they can live 18 years! What kind of sick individual are you to want to contribute to that?!?

As I suggested in the other post - Read the PETA thread and go to their site. Kittens and Puppies aren't here for our amusement. They never consented to be our "pets".

Follow the guidelines from the good people of PETA....
FREE the KITTENS!

If you are meant to have a kitten, then one will come to make your acquaintance.

-fast reply-

Well shit...here you guys are talking about real kittens......I thought kitten was code for some nasty BDSM sex tallk about her getting a virgin wench, I was pondering on the fun her owner was going to have letting her have a tender young slave pussy to play with.............

Where's the fun in a real fuckin' cat.......apart from the with gravy comment, that has its appeal in a gourmet sort of way.

Mooooo,

Bull

Yep, what Chia said, providing you are talking about a real kitten.
We just got two of them this last weekend.  Around here....it was hard to find any at all.  We have no real animal shelter.  No ads in the paper.
Anyway I had been looking for about 2 months.  We have two garages.  The detached one...it is over run with field mice.
Anyway...we've tried everything but cats.  So we finally decided to take the neighbors advice about putting a cat out there.
Our cousin lives on a farm...a cat had kittens.  So, we have two wild kittens now.  Yet they are coming along quite nicely already.  Took them to the vet they have ringworm and lice.  Meds to handle it.
I think adopting them was our good deed for the week.  I imagine they would have had really short lives if we hadn't.
Definately go to the animal shelter

Well, you could take the long way around the barn, and find some mittens, put an add in the paper, and see if any -----------------

the rest is left as an exercise to the reader.

Steal someone elses cat and test drive it. Wait for the LOST CAT posters to go up in the neighborhood you took it from. If you don't like the little bugger take the cat back for the reward. Keep doing this until you abduct a cat you like or have collected enough rewards to buy the cat of your dreams.

I'm here to help... it's what I do.
