We The People have the right to do anything it takes to secure the rights that are bestowed by the Creator Of All Things. There should never have been any sodomy laws on the books, EVER in this country. What happens in private homes that hurts noone, and poses no danger is strictly out of their pervue by the Law of the land.

Moving forward, I personally know three people who have been successful at blackmail, and I know why it worked. They had a point. Morally I still disagree with it in these cases. Note that turning them in is not an option. One, I have enough holes in the head, and two, there would be not enough evidence to convict. In one instance the perpetrator is no longer living. So don't gimme that about knowing about a felony, it just isn't possible to do anything about  it.

On to this hypocrite MF. I consider him open season. He is trying to take away others' rights while still enjoying his. And he is in a position of power, given the circumstance, if you make this information public that is the moral high ground. Don't ask, don't threaten. Just do it.

If you do not ask and do not threaten it is not blackmail. This guy is paid with OUR fucking money, and he is just as bad as any politician who wants to take away our guns yet keep his. And they DO keep them. They want their rights while denying ours, this is worse than hypocrisy, this is hubris. Thinking that they are above the other people, when in reality they are supposed to be public servants.

Give me the information and I will take care of it and keep you out of the crossfire. Give them a really long trail to follow. I am probably several states away. To take the moral high ground I will not ask nor threaten, just do it. You are out of the picture.

Unless this person is in the federal government, his influence is very unlikely to touch me. And I won't be breaking the law. I totally agree that it would be wrong to expose anyone normally, but if this guy is doing what you say he is, he does not deserve that type of consideration.

My opinion is : FIRE AT WILL.

Then contacted his office a few days later with a friendly "This is Eoin ***. Chances are, the rumor is already moving through the office and the question becomes "what sort of party was this?" A smart senator will stop and back off, while letting it look like the bill died in committee or due to filibuster... A dumb one will be crucified in the press by his denials and deceit.

I've always believed (and I'm sure this belief will not be popular) that once you enter a public arena like politics or entertainment (Hollywood) that you have made your life the public domain by choice.  IF you are sabotaging someones right to live the way they wish (purposely closing down fetish clubs because they're anti-christian, or gay or offend you in some way) at the same time you are taking advantage of that lifestyle, you publicly gave me the right to speak out about that hypocricy when you chose to become a public political figure.  The people have a right to know what their vote is supporting.  

Maybe I gave the wrong impression when I said "blackmail".   I would definately go up to that person and say "Look, you can't ruin a lifestyle and use it at the same time. What do you think your constituants would do if I gave these photos to the press?" That gives that person a chance to look at what they are doing and choose ONE path.  Now, in fairness if that Senator, politico, whatever stopped his fetish involvment and continued to try to shut the lifestyle down, at least he would have chosen a path.  In all honesty I probably would do nothing with the photos other than use them to prove my point. 

However, I MOST definately would go and have a long chat with the host to be sure that they didn't intentionally invite someone who obviously dislikes the lifestyle and what it stands for, and dislikes himself so much that he has to try to shut it down. 

I apologize that I wasn't clearer, I  keep trying to get online when no one is around to see that I'm not in bed (I'm supposed to be on bed rest LOL)
