CollarMe is a respected BDSM site for me. I don't mean it a "nerdy" way without any fun. But you can refer to it and make it your reference. As There aren't any off-line BDSM life-stylists I know of where I live. CollarMe is the best place to socialize with BDSM people.

Thank you... thank you very much, really :)

nmjardine -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:01:22 PM)

I wish I had discovered the forums a long time ago. I've only begun visiting recently and reading these threads have made me feel so much better about how I choose to pursue my place in the BDSM world.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:14:45 PM)

Just add me to the collarme.com groupie category.  I've only been a member 20 days (more or less) but find I crave my daily fix.

e01n -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:18:37 PM)

My work productivity has dropped markedly...

Then again, it all gets done and my bosses love me. WTF?!?!

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:22:20 PM)

Oh bloody hell E10n, you joined 2 days afer me and you already have paddles?  Ok, I'm such a slacker.  I take it back, you ARE worthy...where is that silver cup?

LadyPact -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:24:35 PM)

After seeing the literally hundreds of responses that went to the "Decline of CM" thread(which I didn't read), I'm very glad to see one talking about the positives of Collar Me.  Like many other things, it's what you make of it.

nmjardine -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:24:46 PM)

I joined 2 years before you both. How did you find some many topics to post to?

e01n -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 3:27:19 PM)

You make them... Ask questions, write bad surrealist zen stories, flirt out loud...

Y'know - the usual stuff

I love you Collarme.com. I'll never leave again. Its really scary out there on the Internet.

In my case, the order of events was reversed.

Which in no way excuses my rants about shitting in waterholes, but may explain why they happen.

krikket -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:02:02 PM)

Adding my own name to the list of groupies..a day without CM is a day not worth mentioning..lol..

cheers,
jimini

AquaticSub -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:06:59 PM)

I love this place. I've learned so much here.

Estring -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:17:52 PM)

As someone who has been here pretty much from the beginning, I have seen many changes on this site.
It used to be that you never knew from day to day what would come up any time you logged on. The whole look of the site would change at times.
The one consistency through all the years has been the great number of good people (some who I have met) on the site. As with any site, there are always morons, but the quality overall is good. Hell, I met my slave/wife here. I will always be grateful to Collarme for that.
The people that run the site are to be commended as well. They keep it a site that is always enjoyable to sign onto.
As many others who have been here awhile can attest, it does get tiresome answering for the millionth time "why can't I find a Dom or sub" or "why did they just disappear", but that is a small price to pay for the great amount of information and discussion that always keeps me coming back.
And it's still free!

ThinkingKitten -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:30:48 PM)

FR here:
I love CM. Incredible learning tool, source of entertainment, the only BDSM site I bother with, and so on. But also incredibly confusing... take the current 'can of worms" thread.... which leaves me shaking my head in self doubt, when I thought I was confident.

CM: the perfect double-edged sword [:)]

Msagain -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:39:59 PM)

I am new to this site, only a week and so far the information I have found in the forums has been invaluable I am enjoying this site so much and to think I paid on another site that gave nothing compared to this one. Oh well we live and learn lol[:D]

e01n -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:45:49 PM)

http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=1236463 - a nascent thread about people we've met on CM and what we've learned from them...

Me, I'm finding out new and more fun things daily - and I've been doing WIITWD for more than a few days

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:47:34 PM)

Ok, what exactly does WIITWD  stand for?

e01n -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:50:50 PM)

For you, it means: learn Gaelic

For everyone else: What It Is That We Do - i.e. BDSM, kink, hang out at renfairs, squick people with zen stories... that sort of thing.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 4:52:59 PM)

But of course!  [sm=ofcourse.gif]  Thank you oh possessed tongue speaking one.  Now if you would only hold down so the holy water would work.(private joke).

ELUSIVE1 -> RE: The Superiority of Collarme.com (8/28/2007 5:28:19 PM)

yeah,C/M is my 'playground' of choice right now..I used to  play on forums at b.com too--not lately--too boring...so y'all  will just have to get used to me here
