Thanks--that is actually wallpaper in the guest bathroom...I don't have any real fishies right now

I understand the concern as I've wondered the same thing on occasion, but I've learned to take it at face value as everyone is saying to do. He wouldn't say it if he wasn't attracted in general. I've found that most guys don't bother paying any compliments unless they're attracted. As someone else mentioned, bask in your great personality.

Ghita you are so right--when I hear "ahhh, bless her heart' I feel like I have just been shot right down by a genteel southern belle...and said with a proper Charleston or Savannah accent (they sound about the same to me) it is too much

Here's a simple test for you. (I'll give you my read on the situation and how I'd approach things.) Has he patted your ass? If he has, and he's made such a comment, odds are he likes you and is thinking about more than one roll in the hay. If he hasn't patted your ass, then he may not be that interested, and this is a polite way to say no thanks. If he hasn't made up his mind, then the next time you see him, give him a little hip check and go back to step 1.

If your only interaction hasn't involved physical proximity- and you're curious- just ask. If he says he ain't interested-well, clearly there are men here who are.

Bear in mind that statistics are on your side. More men are going to be interested in tumbling you than not. If you keep getting no's- you're asking the wrong guys.
