Sapp: the local folks will know tomorrow am...however, daddy told me yesterday that i can quit this job now & i'm sooooooo tempted...i did have words with Bob & asked if it would be easier to get me to Salt Lake City, where i can turn the truck in, than to get me home...he said no...i'm working so hard on keeping that street girl locked inside of me & not letting her out to play right now like she really really wants....

it hasn't been a totally wasted morning...so far i have learned that Captain Cook was a very fair man & kept his cat-o-nine-tails in a red bag which he hung on a wall of the ship, only to be brought out for the rare punishment he felt was needed...whence came the phrase: "don't let the cat out of the bag"
