I have to agree GT though I dont know how many kids I live near yet Im sure I will find out this week as they all run to cram in as much summer as they can in the last week. As yes NG Im sure thats going to be an adventure.

It's the beginning of the second week of school in these parts and the school boards are already trying to figure out make-up dates for the days when school was closed last week, thanks to Fay.

There are some places that make them go all year around...3 weeks on and 1 week off......sounds like a plan to me.

down here, it's 6 weeks summer holidays, generally starting sometime in the week before christmas.
