maybe cause no one person has the right to censor anything.. not when it is made to the public.. civil rights are just that..  when we try to censor speech.. when it is the best interest of all ...we are no better then the government or other institutions...

Well the US government IS "we"

What makes you think a privately owned chat room or cyber forum is somehow subject to civil rights?

it is not about ownership rather about equality.. there are certain things that happen in our lifestyle that people just seem to neglect or not want to face. but that is nether here or there.. it is not right for one person to be able to say or do something and someone else not too. if positive growth is to happen it has to be equal. not just your way or mine

lets see well it is kinda of public though the site might be private  and maybe cause its not paid site you can debate the fact that is goes through public servers to reach you so it kinda might be a little on the moot point side. but i am not a paraleagle for intelectual property rights.. so controling what someone says is kinda  like talk radio you have an off button lol or ignore button maybe they can add that feature ...lol

*blinks* You really don't get it.
Privately owned company runs private site and allows people onto it as guests (paid or for free, it matters not.)
Privately owned company either owns or rents server space.
Therefore, privately owned company can do as they please, including moderate you and delete your posts.

Take a gander at the Terms of Service for the site and perhaps you'll understand that the owner of the site can delete whatever they please, including things that are perfectly legal, just because they can!

you know i could spend hours just comming up with all the FCC rules and laws the govern web sites or isp providers just to counter what you said.. My whole point to this was about being equal.. but as you have shown that nothing ever is.. and so long as you keep puting out that point of view then your setting up double standards. but thats what cushy people do. they ride the wire of saftyness and when it breaks all hell comes loose..  as i always say live and burn

Presumably the owners of the site want to make money and stay within the law.
I'm rather pleased at what we do get away with.
I don't like the type of advertising but then it means we get not to pay which is a great advantage. Reading what people write is fun even if I don't agree with them and contributing on these message boards has helped my communication skills I think.
I still don't really understand what the probem is and yes I have read it all.
Are you feeling got at is that it?

When you're willing to place a million dollars in escrow to pay for the site owners legal defense fund for allowing discussions of minors on an adult oriented website, we 'll consider changing that policy.  Until then, you can follow the current policy or be shown the door.

End of discussion.
