I'm a novice, hetero dom, just out of my first serious D/s relationship and looking for advice/mentoring from experienced men.
This relationship ended badly as the woman involved found herself unable to deal with acting on long-supressed desires and, worse, enjoying them. And inorder to salvage self-image, she blamed me for her feelings. So has anyone else dealt with this, any warning signs to watch for or telltales?
I really don't want this to happen again. Very distressing for both of us.
I was very solicitious of her wants and needs, careful not to do anything she did not explicitly ask for and generally believed I was in a SSC relationship.

Thanks Simon - much appreciated. Yep, this is tricky shit - if i thought your basic man/woman relationship was fraught with peril ...
But when it works, it's a wonderful thing.
But I've truly had enough paranoia, adolescent attention-seeking, neuroses and general bullshit in my life prior to this so i guess i just need to screen a little better. And, as an experienced friend (domme) told me - "Remeber, she had 40 years to practice not letting people know or see her problems. Don't be shocked if you didn't see them."

Love to pick your brain online if you're willing and certianly go for a drink when you visit. Business or vacation?

Bit of both Jimmy. We always shoot a few models whilst in town..can't resist it. But last time we shot a sweet little subgirl new to the scene who had jest joined a local dungeon. Suppose we'll check it out.
