bring her a lil present, perhaps a lil giftbag, glittery rollon lipgloss that you can share, a lil bottle of misty body spray mmm ginger and a lil broach, nothin' too fancy shmancy.

Later on, when you believe the date is going well, suggest trying out the stuff in the bag after dinner.  Both of you, shimmering lips mmm. If she puts the lil broach on, you know you 'had her at hello yummy!!'.  Later, try the body mist together while waiting for your exits home...and say "Mmm we are going home smelling like eachother I like that". **hint hint

holy, I'm not even bi and now having a lil fantasy going on me pea brain *giggles.

For all those who were anxiously awaiting news (and pictures apparently)....I thought Id post an update on my weekend....

I got stood up....totally sucks.....for all those guys out there Ive stood up over the years, I truly apologize....never realized how bad it really feels....

Being a lady who dated quite a few other women before settling down with my Lady for the last 14 years, I have some suggestions.

Dress appropriately for the venue you'll be going to - jeans and a casual dressy top for something like a movie or casual dining, or dressier if you'll be at a very nice restaurant. If you plan dancing, wear something you will be comfortable dancing in.

If the venue has not yet been selected, I recommend a slightly upscale casual place - somewhere where you can get a quiet table with no screaming three year old tossing french fries right next to you.  You want a place where you can see one another, but not like super bright. You want a place that's quiet enough that you can hear one another talk.  You want somewhere that if you choose to discuss sex or kink you can without tensing up thinking the whole restaurant is going to turn around and stare.

As for how to act, well, if this was just a woman who you were meeting for dinner - say a friend of a friend you hit it off with via email or at a party, how would you act?  You want to talk, learn about one another, and see if your personalities are a good fit. Don't stress about it, just enjoy teh company and the event.

If things seem to be clicking, then consider going somewhere where some light making out can occur and see if it strikes sparks.  Have fun!

Don't stress ahead of time. Exploration, meeting people, learning... that's no stress and think about the fun parts of that. You might not get a bedmate or a play partner, but someone who is fun to talk with.  Be open about all possibilities.

And kissing girls -- my personal recommendation is that if offered a deep kiss, keep your tongue soft and make it as sensuous as you possibly can to start. Then see how she kisses YOU and match that.

I can tell you what NOT to do based on my own experience. DON'T bring your stuffed animal collection with you on the first date. For some reason, it just doesn't work.

I hope you don't mind the late response GhitaAmati, and I'm sorry about your date not working out. I would imagine you can make that happen in your area without much problem. [:D]
 
To my way of thinking, men respond to obvious visual display. If you want to make a guy hot, wear a super tight blouse with no bra, or hugger jeans so low, that another quarter inch will get you arrested. Heavy, seductive makeup works well on guys.
 
I've only dated a few girls, and only had one extended girlfriend, but more subtle visual display seems to be the thing to do. I would go with the suggestion of whats behind the packaging, rather than making it obvious. My girlfriend used to love my elaborately painted nails. Sublte makeup, would be my advice.
 
Once you get further into the "encounter", most of the time fancy undies are wasted on men. Oh, once you know a guy better they're great, but by-and-large, VS undies are a married chick's thing. On an early encounter with a guy, his prime focus is getting them off. Girls, not so much. I would go buy the most expensive undies you can afford, and I would bet money that when you have your encounter, she will absolutely notice.
 
Obviously, this isn't for everyone ... every person will be different.

That sucks.

I've never been stood up.  Besides that time I made plans with this girl and found her house vacant, and For Sale, when I went to pick her up.  Besides that, though..

Seriously, though.. yeah.  Standing up people isn't cool.  So, at least you learned something from all of this, right?
