OK, so this has absolutly nothing to do with BDSM, but what the hell, Ill ask it anyway. Ive had sex with a girl before, but the menfolks always arranged all the details, never had to handle it on my own before. This upcoming weekend I have a blind date with a chick, Ive seen her picture but dont know anything about her. Strangly enough, I am move nervous about this date than any I have ever gone on before. I have no idea how to dress to impress a woman, what do I say? What do I do? Whats the proper ettiquite for this sort of thing? Do I treat this date just like any date Ive been on with a guy? Or what? Jeesh Im so confused...I hate being in control.....lol.... ghita~

I beleive you. Yes, I think they are contadictory ideas - both what I said and also good time versus impressing her *I'll make it easy. Is this a one time hook up or a relationship to be continued? Is this something you want or are you being sent out on a mission? What to do : be yourself. Find out more about the other girl. What are her interests, likes, ideas? Even if it is a one tie thing ; be a friend. Be honest. decent. you see?

be yourself, women dress (they think) to impress women, but they really impress men. Uh, if she likes chicks dress like you were going to seduce a man. act polite and feminine, and don't be goal oriented to gobble up the gap, that is a mans world. Enjoy, be pleasant and interesting as well as interested......be natural and if it is natural that you are gonna leave someones panties in the car, it will happen, women are pretty stingy with the gap when they want to be, but the right confluence of events and they try to give that shit away with BOTH hands. Rockwell....sorry about the profile misshap....it really should have said taken and bi...but its been ages since Ive really looked at my profile, and why I checked "straight" when I first made it Ill never know. The profile also says towards the bottom that we have a pretty open relationsip...Up until now that really only included a very select number of people that we date/play with both together and seperately..but last week a friend of mine suggested I take this girl out for dinner and I agreed...now Im banging my head agasint the wall cause I dont know how to act towards her. Im excited, nervous, scared...all of the above and more.... Am I asking for advice? Yea I guess so...from those of you who have taken girls out to dinner before..what do they like? I know this sounds silly because yall are gonna say im a girl so I should know..but ive never been really "girly" ever....

No, it's not contradictory... I understand about the butterflies. Enjoy them, they're like stagefright: it's good stress :-) Imagine that the girl in question probably has very similar feelings to yours... where are you meeting? If you meet somewhere where you'll be comfortable, it'll help.

Oh wow, I would honestly have to have some sort of clue about the woman before I could say what would trip her trigger. I could only say what would with me and I am kinda weird I think. Plus, there is that whole........ what is your goal?.........thing. Are you just looking for a..... good time, thanks, goodbye......kinda thing? Or something more long term and mentally/emotionally intimate? Personally, I just go with........relax and be yourself.

Ok, ive gotten alot of questions about "whats my goal" and in all honesty, LA hit the nail on the button...this dinner this weekend is just to get to know each other better and see if we hit it off. No I am not looking for a one night stand, nor am I looking to replace my Sir/husband. Im hoping to make a long lasting friend with,,uhm..benifits? I know that phrase sounds cheesy, but I dont know how else to decribe it. ~~edited to mention that from what she said she is looking for the same thing

Ghita, you mentioned a friend suggested you take this girl on a date. Any chance the friend can give you suggestions as to what the girl likes? (food, music, hobbies/activities?)...i agree with the general advice given, just be yourself, relax and see what happens. More than likely this woman is probably just as nervous as you are smile Good Luck!
