It's CLEARLY a desperate ploy to both manipulate and scare a large percentage of the American people.

I could dig up endless links to stories from early-mid 2006 saying Al-Queda's leadership was mostly destoyed /in shambles, and that we were pursuing them endlessly across the globe.

Now, 12 months later, they're fully re-constituted, pose a major threat of attack to both people and infrastructure here in the US ---- And Bush, Cheney, congress and the rest of the gang are checking less than one percent of shipping containers, and want a free-flow of Mexican truck drivers from across the border.

Hell..... I know there's a lot of dummies out there, sucken' this shit up, spending all their time watching tv, but there's gota be enough smart, intuitive people that clearly see past this ruse.

I'll bet a nickel against a donut that if anything happens....It will be blamed on either Hamas or Iran ---- But will have come from within.

The report makes clear that al-Qaida in Iraq, which has not yet posed a direct threat to U.S. soil, could become a problem here.

Now, that right there is just a laugh a minute....

Seriously, seems someone needs to boost support, or re-up gasoline prices, whatever.  i trust NOTHING regarding the "threat" now...when/if it ever happens AGAIN here...i'll deal with it then.

And John "Amnesty" McCain was saying that "if we don't fight them over there they'll follow us home."
("Gee John, then given your "logic" wouldn't it make sense to guard our FUCKING borders, Big Guy?")
Funny, McCain says that we "can't deport 20 million people" but we can continue to spend $100 B in Iraq every year?
We could deport 20 million people for about $2B.
And that would save us $90B per year in associated costs for illegal aliens.
They're not real good with ARITHMATIC in Washington, are they?
But, doing those things would interfere with the big corporations "globalisation" plans.
And, if we "know" that there's al qeada training camps in Western Pakistan why aren't we bombing the living shit out of them?

There is no bigger threat to US Security than the nation of Saudi Arabia.

15 of 19 Hijackers on 9/11 -- Saudi Citizens

MORE THAN 50% of Iraq Insurgents are Saudis...

The GOAL of 9/11? Getting the US OUT OF SAUDI ARABIA ( And Bush handed OBL the WIN on that one! )

And where do you think OBL has been hiding?

It really makes me uncomfortable when someone (known only to us as "the analysts") refers to the US as "the homeland". WTF?? Am I just being weird? I'm good at that, y'know!

I never believe any media anymore....except maybe the meteorologists.

You are right. Saudi Arabia is the country we should have gone after. Unfortunately, the bushies and the Sauds are "friends" so they get a pass.

Yup, and there's two sites there that you want to go after first.
Mecca and Medina!
You take those out and there is no more "islam."

Well, you know, if Bush had a fucking single braincell, RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT, we wouldn't need to burn oil for energy. At that single moment, no-one on the planet would give a shit about the Saudis...

But he doesn't have a single fucking braincell.

Oil would still be a major commodity since our entire plastics industry is geared to using it as the base material. We could change that but it would be an additional R&D investment and then additional infrastructure costs.

Although that would drop the oil producers from stinking rich down to just wealthy.

I think once the bottom dropped out of the market, these supposedly wealthy people would discover that they can't meet their financial obligations and aren't as wealthy as they believe.

And they'll be falling over themselves to sell whatever small amounts we need for seed stock to make Tupperware... Which is the natural order of things...

So much for it being a "Peace Movement..."   Some of us would like to try and avoid that option.

I read the article.

It said there was a threat, but there was 0 (zero, nil, nihil, nada, zilch) discussion of tactics.  It was simply more of the non-specific fear-mongering which this administration thrives on.

Of course, Pakistan has nukes already.

There is no evidence that saudi's are involved as a nation since:

a) there were no saudi's listed on the manifests

b) there has been no "positively identified" dna matches of the hijackers

c) fbi claims to have dna samples of the hijackers.

{just how did they go about getting the hijackers reference dna samples?  LOL}

No proof they are saudi citizens, no proof they are saudis, no proof there was really hijackers, well human anyway.

yup helping their muslim brothers fight the imperialist fascists. Modern day AH.

Saudi Arabia is getting low on cheap oil. (they are running out of oil)

People do not understand.  The whole of the ME knows where OBL is.  He is NOT hiding out.  i could find out with a phone call or 3. LOL

You take those out and there is no more "islam."

Could you possibly say anything more irresponsible than this?

"Hit" either and you invoke the Mother of all Shit-storms.

Where do people get the idea that more random killing of civillians and destroying of symbols is going to help? That's terrorist talk, popeye.
