It looks like 121 Firefighters didn't make it out of the North Tower, DIRECTLY because of Rudy's incompetence.

"He gave us nothing, when we needed a lifesaving radio."

What's he going to do? Swiftboat(TM) the Firefighters?

Funny:
farglebargle (28 minutes ago) "We need a 3 minute and 60 second version."

But yeah, this guy is just another jackass standing on graves and shouting about how great he is. Mission accomplished.

Edit: Wow, that bit about finding the gold and moving bodies to the dump is just priceless! That's how politicians think isn't it? Fuck the body politic, suck corporate cock (and that of a foreign interest no less - a Canadian bank at first glance).

It's aimed at distracting us from the testimony of the White House Political Adviser, where she claimed 120 times that she "Could Not Recall"...

I agree.
I don't think Rudy would be a good President.
The Media portrays him as "the hero" of 9/11 but the real heros were the Firefighters and Cops who went into those buildings and didn't come out.
McCain's campaign is starting to implode as well.
The other day 5 of his top campaign managers quit!
Politicians are slowly realising that if they support any type of amnesty for illegal aliens they won't get the votes of the people.

I have my eye on Thompson, he hasn't even really declared and he is on Rudy's ass.

Hillary will be the Dem nominee.

The GOP with be either Thompson or Romney.

That's your choice for 2008.

Well, it's going to be impossible to get any dirt on Romney!
The guy is in love with his wife of 30 some odd years and he doesn't even drink anything with cafeine in it!
On top of that he went to Harvard, is a self made millionaire, and has five sons who are all educated, involved in charities, one's an M.D......it just goes on and on like that!
And then there's Hillary Clinton.
She french-kissed AL GORE!!! YUCK!!!

I disagree.  I think Gore is going to October surprise Hillary into oblivion.  Hook up with Edwards or Kucinich.  Take the Democratic nomination handily.  No point in doing it yet, Billary are keen politican infighters and Gore can sit on the sidelines and watch Billary spend their campaign money going after other people.

I dont think Romney can win the Religious Right vote as a Mormon.  Of course, none of the other ones can either.  The RR will vote in somebody as the Republican candidate like Brownback, that the rest of the country will not ever vote for, regardless of party affiliation.  40% of the Republican party are RR, so they might be able to sew up that nomination in a heartbeat.

I still think the days of the Republican party are numbered.  I see it fracturing into a distant third party (like Greens or Libertarians) and the rise of another distant third party composed of religious right types.

Just me, etc.

You overlook the obvious Gore/Clinton ticket.

Al pushes for "Awareness" of his pet issue from now until it's time to announce, and then BAM! Everyone else get out of the pool.

Clinton/Gore ticket (or Gore/Clinton) combined with a Democrat congress will set the Democrats up for a complete derailment in 2010 and 2012. Although everyone hates the neo-con Bush administration.....you can't even imagine how much government is going to expand under a Clinton/Gore ticket.

Would you mind waiting till 2008 before you start pestering us about 2012?  Christ Almighty, Republicans can really get annoying when they think they're about to lose.

It wont be Clinton/Gore.  Gore has already played second fiddle to a Clinton, and the nomination is his for the taking if he throws his hat in the ring.

The question becomes would Hillary be willing to play second fiddle to Gore?  I personally think she is too power hungry to agree to be his running mate.

Last but not least, what does Gore get out of asking her to run with him?  He and she both represent similar aspects of the Democratic party, whereas he could do what Bill did (edited to change this to having Gore as Bill's running mate) to gain the western state and environmental vote.

I keep trying to hint to him that he's been mesmerized by the pundits in the corporate media from watching too much television --But it's not working.

I'd love to see him read this book......I think he'd be a whole new man.

I for one, am pissed that they didn`t wait for rudy to get the nomination, before outing him as a phony hero.I was soooooo wishing he would win the republican nomination, now I`m not so sure.I`m hoping this story doesn`t get much traction,so the republicans are fooled into choosing him.Can we keep this a secrete?

I knew a couple years ago about this, but he wasn`t running for anything then.I heard an interview on the radio w/ an author who put his failures together and documented them in a book.

Does anyone remember his extra-marital affair, that he did little to hide,at the same time the republicans were skewering Clinton? How he had his lawyer go on TV to trash talk about his wife. How he let her know about his intentions to divorce her, at a live news conference?!?

Awww ,can`t we have rudy to kick around?....Please,please??

Peace
