Its pretty clear to most over here that Britain has gone soft.

Brown wont even admit that the terrorists that just tried to blow up his country were muslims.

Just like every other country in Europe, they are all obsessed with political correctness.

This is why I always try to spend a few hours watching the House of Commons on TV when I visit. Was it really the inspiration for the "I came here for an argument" Monty Python sketch?

You guys are a fun watch.

I dont think I have ever seen a picture of Murdick. Ya- he- or neocons control the mass media here. if you ever seen American tv- it is-- the gutter. in the late 70s it was so much better. not the noise box is just that. get this- i told my psychatrist i cant watch tv and focus- bingo ADHD -- and PILLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

anyhow- if you have fresh talent there- i envy you, NOTHING is on the horiizen here - leadershipwise. the public be damned- is the mode of the day.

Haha, that made me smile PA! I can't imagine anyone finding Blair sexy - form where I'm standing he seems about as sexy as a puddle of week-old vomit, but each to their own I guess!

(As for his wife, think of a waxwork that's been left too close to the fire, and with the charm of an unflushed toilet and you're on the right lines)

Concerning Brown, it's still early days, but he does seem to genuinely want to do what is best for the country, unlike his self-serving halfwit predecessor. I'll give him the benefit of thedoubt for now, even if, as has been noted, he has microscopic cajones when it comes to telling it how it is about the recent failed terror attacks (and on that subject, how low must your self esteem be to be a failed suicide bomber - the nadir of incompetence surely

One comforting thought for us Brits though is that he can't possibly be any worse that that impotent lapdog Blair, who will probably head to the US now, possibly the only nation on the planet who still have any respect for him, until he starts his new role as Middle East Peace Envoy. *bursts out laughing* Sorry, but whoever dreamed this one up obviously never considered that putting Blair in charge of the Middle East Peace process is like putting Michael Jackson in charge of preteen sex education - it's a bad, bad idea which will only end up in tears for everyone concerned.

That reminds me of that comedy sketch - dont know where or when or by whom, but it concerns a Japanese kamikaze pilot, who keeps returning to base and the questions of his commanding officer as to why.

"Forgot prayer band" was my favourite excuse that he gave.

Hell, England is the only nation in the EU that is not represented as a nation or given any political recognition.

Blair is half Scottish and was educated in Scotland. As for being against a Scottish Prime Minister, since devolution I am against it until England has its own Parliament or Scottish MPs are barred from voting on purely English matters. I think it is anti-democratic and criminal that Dcottish and Welsh MPs can vote on purely English matters.

As for Brown being new, he's been around since the beginning of this administration and carries the guilt of Iraq every bit as much as Blair. He is a dead man's shoes politician and will probably just be a rump PM.

Very true - he may be making a token attempt to distance himself from Bush's Whipping Boy, but the fact is that he was complicit in every single one of Blair's policies and decisions, and as you say is therefore every bit as responsible for the mess in Iraq (not to mention our imploding health service here in the UK) as Blair.

Dominated by London maybe but then both are over represented in London and as long as both require London's money, neither will go for a full divorce because as the Scots, the union for them was money motivated and has always remained so. They now have the illusion that they would get more out of the EU than the UK but in the current Duropean climate that is delussional

Nahhh, the Scots and Welsh have more than enough about them to stand on their own two feet.

Just to add, the British are not European, really. We have our own way of doing things. 'Best bet is to do our own thing.
