Of course, she's still one of the best actresses in the world, but she used to be so beautiful.

Status: offline 		I'm a little surprised at the existence of this thread.

People grow old. They gain weight, They get ill. Their hair goes grey, they might even lose their hair. Their tits sag. They get lines on their face. Skin tags may form in different places. No one really cares for the effects of growing old physically.

It happens.

This reminds me of the very sexist notion that women get old, but men just become more distinguished. I think we just can't accept that beautiful women get old - that we notice it as much as we do. Since men are always allowed to look like semi-hell they simply don't have as far to fall.

Status: offline 		She's only 43.  I know many 43-year-old women who don't look as old as she does in that picture.  It's not sexist.  It's an observation.  She has aged noticeably.

Someone must have pissed in a lot of Wheaties today, because everyone on Collarme is acting like they're on the rag or something.

I think many people slept through "The English Patient"
I don't know what she looked like before, she looks pretty in the photo. Hopefully she won't make the same mistake so many celebrities make and get plastic surgery that makes them look like a burn victim.

Status: offline 		If one clicks that link and looks at more of her photos in the gallery...she looks great.  I looked at some of the pics from the Venice Film Festival from Sept of last year.  I think she is still really beautiful....and she has mellowed gracefully as far as looks go.  I think everyone has a bad night, day or even week, at times.   A few wrinkles?  Big deal!  That is all a part of aging...we can't stop the process unless we die.  And I would rather opt for aging at this point in my life.  It happens to men too, so I don't think they can afford to be that picky about things either.  It's just all a part of life.  Eventually we all morph into old ladies and men...every single one of us.

I think noticing a 43 year old woman is starting to look old is the equivalent of noticing that grass is green and the sky appears to be blue. Anyway, I think you are taking what I wrote above the wrong way.

And thankfully, no one pissed in my kashi - but thanks for the warning!
