Providing information to her is fine. Advising her to end her relationship, unless it is clearly abusive, is not.

Being her friend is fine. Poaching her from her husband is not.

You want to help her? ? ? Stop thinking with the little head. You think she needs someone to give her guidance, direction, instruction? How about become friends with her husband and nudge HIM in the right direction. She's off limits and you know it, and you're looking to this crowd to give you a green light to do what you know is wrong. Ain't gonna get it from this fellow, that's fer sure.

This to me was the key part of your OP.... you are not her dom, you are not her master....you are her friend. Support her and empower her and remember that there are other people and needs involved. Take a step back and encourage her to discuss her unhappiness with her husband if she hasn't already. Who knows, he may be feeling the same way or totally unaware of her current feelings.
