When do we get to decorate for fall?

Aylee -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/18/2009 8:51:15 PM)

That depends.  Do you want the meteorlogical fall (Sept 1 - Nov 30) or the astronomical fall (Sept 22 - Dec 21)?  Because if the first one, go ahead and decorate.  If the second one, you need to wait a few days.

Edited to add:

If you are talking the solar fall (forgot that one) that would be Sept 15 - Dec 20, so you can decorate.

Maybe i just light this maple scented candle for now.

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 6:58:58 AM)

Yummmmm, maple...

Buttermilk pancakes with warm, real, 100% Maple syrup.
Sausage links or bacon.
Eggs any style.
Fresh fruit.
Coffee, Tea, Road Tar, Milk, juice.

FelineFae -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 7:33:53 AM)

Syrup is so good on breakfast meats. [:)]

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 7:38:20 AM)

i like the bacon and sausage that are maple flavored.  When i have scrapple i put maple syrup on it, too.

As far as i'm concerned the ONLY maple syrup is the 100% real stuff.

FelineFae -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 7:44:19 AM)

Scrapple is like head cheese or am i confusing it with something else?

sunshinemiss -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 7:49:14 AM)

Scrapple is "meat"... the scraps of what's left over when a hog is slaughtered.  It's a Philadelphia specialty.  People put syrup on it.

I have a friend who thinks it is the food of the gods.  I don't think that.

FelineFae -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 7:53:56 AM)

hmm, well i think i'd rather have those left overs mixed with rice and spice, shoved in casing, and smoked.
boudan is yummy. [:D] lol.

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 8:07:56 AM)

Scrapple has corn meal in it with the pork.  It's usually seasoned with sage and comes in a block that you slice and heat up in a skillet.  i like it and can't get it here in West Virgina.  It can be ordered off the internet, but i just get it when i go to see my dad and step-mom near Philly.

i suppose it's time to clean something...i'll start in the kitchen.  [sm=mop.gif]

Does anybody have an idea for lunch on a chilly Saturday?

Pizza with a side of salad?  That is what we are having, and anyone that wants to come by is welcome.

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 10:20:29 AM)

Sounds good, Aylee.

Aylee -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 10:34:22 AM)

It is the KU versus Duke feetsball game today!  Which means that there are a million cars parked on the street and it will not be fit to go out anywhere.  Unless you cannot LIVE without something, just wait until tomarrow.  It is like this every home feetsball game.

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (9/19/2009 10:37:16 AM)

When i was a student at Univ of Mich i lived on campus...could hear the stadium announcer if my windows were open.
