Not to mention jigsaw puzzles......if they aren't sitting in the middle of the thing when you try to put one together, they are doing their damndest to take it apart!  I think they secretly remove one piece just to sit there and laugh when it's all done but the one little hole......usually right in the middle!

My rescue kitty, Freya, has been fascinated with water since she arrived in my house at the age of 3 weeks.  She drops her toys in the communal pet dish, swims in the bathtub, sticks her face in the way when I pour water into the back of the coffeepot...  A couple days ago, I had filled a sinkful of dishes with soapy water and walked out of the kitchen for a few minutes.  I heard a loud crash followed by a THUMPATHUMPATHUMPA*mew* and ran back into the kitchen to find a wet kitty hidden away under the table and pots and pans all over the floor.

My older cat, Ginger, can tell when I am about to have a panic attack.  She has gotten so good at letting me know that one is about to hit that whenever she gets clingy and starts grooming me, I take an allergy tablet (good for panic attacks) and head for the bedroom so I can lay down.  A particularly bad one got me last week, hit so suddenly that all I could do was crawl to the bedroom.  She kept ducking under my arms and chin as I moved along, like she was trying to carry me or something.  *sniffle*

Our homicidal parrot, Monkey, started making some really odd noises a couple months ago.  Turns out he was imitating the moaning noises from the soft-core porn my guy's father had been watching after everyone went to sleep.  To this day, Steve has no clue why I giggle when the bird starts going uuuunnnnhhhh uuuunnnnhhhh, because he hasn't figured out what the noises are.

one of my cats jezabelle has tetnus, she has been at the vets since sat. she has inproved since then, when she went in she had gone septic. had puss coming out her eyes nose and butt. she is still in bad shape very stiff and shaking alot from pain. the vet said its possiable that it will spread to her respitory muscles and she will ahve to be put to sleep. however i will not accept that that is a possiability and am staying nothing but positive. i would be thankfull for others positive thoughts as well though.

i have two other cats and a dog and tons of storys, when i am not so drained i will post some!

Deadbluebird,
You have many, many positive thoughts and prayers from me for jezabelle's full recovery.  I know just what you are going through. I had a dog named Shogun for most of my adult life.  When Shogun was 10 months old, he got hit by a car.  The injuries were pretty gruesome.  Every paycheck I had went to pay his vet bills for a long time.  I would have mortgaged my house(if I owned one at the time) for my puppy.  I'm happy to say that I had a wonderful 14 years with Shogun.  Truly the coolest dog I ever knew..
