There is also the option of getting involved and finding a candidate you can support.

just tell them that you believe our legal system is corrupt and they won't ask you to perform jury duty..or tell them you think Marilyn Manson should be president- that is what my exboyfriend did

and they never asked him again

Yeppa, that's pretty much what I did, only I had a detailed story to tell them. ;)
