I've always said if I get reincarnated I'm coming back as my own cat.

Ha, hijacked my own thread, more patheticness!

We live together, but work completely opposite schedules. I'm already asleep when He gets home and He's still asleep when I am out the door to work. I never thought I'd like the sound of someone snoring...but, it wakes me up in the middle of the night and makes me smile, just because He's there. That's pathetic! I can't believe I look forward to the snoring.

I'd venture to say that submissive nature is the yearning to serve and submit to your owner, so whenever your owner is gone you feel a little cut loose and aimless, though you do eventually content yourself with tasks and somehow make it through the endless hours.... I think it's just natural and there's nothing to worry about.

Yes Dane, but what would you say to a switch who is pathetic over her switch partner?

I'm sure all the ones in extreme long distance relationships just want to smack me now (wink @ Kyra)

Well, only if it gets you hot and you consent to it  *eg*

I find it endearing to hear other people miss their partner as much as I miss mine...

I've got the internet, what do I need a puppy for?

Well they are way more fun than cleaning the bathroom!

Yes, they are a ton of responsibility and cost. I spent a good number of years in an apartment where I couldn't have pets...I honestly don't know how I got through it though. Now that the kids are grown my dogs are my babies....and OMG....spoiled!

OMGOSH erin - shes already got a bthroom to clean - and you are suggesting something that makes more mess?
Blergh - all those puddles on the lino just add time...

Which really is pathetic in a sweet sad pathetic sort of way.  So, thought I'd share and be the brave one to admit I'm ok with being pathetic.

Ha - you & me both, sistah!

And yeah to that long distance thing...2 days, hmmph!    hee hee...

But I must say, I really think if I didn't have my partner...nothing else would matter, at least not very much for a very long time.  Healthy or not, that's really how my life is right now.

Totally relate to this.  And you know, I wouldn't have it any other way.  Cheers to your patheticness!  I find it rather beautiful :)

Yay patheticness coming to a close soon!  He called and he'll be home in 2 hours.  Bastard's already gone to the gym, too.  ;)

What did I end up doing?  I cleaned up the whole apartment actually (got stood up by a guy and his friend who I had invited to hang by the pool together), went to a party last night, played with two new cute guys, including my first experience with sounds and a taser, went to sleep at 3, woke up at 2.

My partner told me to have "a cold Dr. Pepper and all my lips ready" when he gets home and to plan on going to the Drafthouse for movie and dinner.

"I survived the pathetic weekend of June 07"

Hope the same is true for the rest of you!

Simple....you're in love. Myself & my g/f are currently in collasping relationships, and we miss each other when we're apart. The time we spend together is the best times. You should miss him. I miss her. Do yourself a favour....remember how much you missed him when you're both back together. Never take your partner for granted.

Lucky you...and him *wink*.  I know all too well that lovely feeling of being besotted and missing my husband when he is away (fortunately not too often though lol).  Enjoy it and his return.  And I bet he feels the same way too :-).
