Just Enlist in the Military, you'll learn everything you need to know about following orders and commands, and saying Yes Sir, No Sir and all the high level protocal stuff including no eye contact while standing at attention and other positions. Push up position when you are being punished, along with lots of verbal humilation. Better yet, just GO MARINES all the way. Be certain to signup for the shittest position that has the slowest advancement and you'll do just fine....LOL

People saying that training academies are a waste of time i'd quite frankly have to agree with. Every Dom and every relationship is different, it's like saying you gotta go to a special school to learn how to fall in love and that is just silly. A true submissive only needs to have that innate desire to please thier Dom and a willingness to learn. I can only think that these "academies" do more damage then good, and be a source of discouragement for any D/s relationship that might take place afterwards.

Let's put it this way, if i was to take on a slave that had been at an academy and learned thier way of serving and this slave had come to rely on that academies training to make her confident in her abilities to serve me. You can only imagine the damage it would do to the slaves self esteem if suddenly i start telling her that she is doing everything all wrong, and that in turn would make my job of training her to serve me that much harder. I'd much rather take on a completely inexperienced but willing submissive that knows absolutely nothing about BDSM and mold her into my perfect slave then to clean up the mess that someone else made of what would have otherwise been a perfectly good sub.

To the original poster, forget the academy, find yourself a Dom that is willing to take you on and let him/her train you to properly serve them don't waste your time and money on some stupid money making scam that will end up not being any benefit to you. If you must spend time and money on some sort of school, then please find a reputable school that will teach you cooking, cleaning, etc as these skills most Dom's will not be willing to teach you but will expect you to do. Or even better go to school get a degree so you can get a well paying job as this too would add value to you in a Dom's eye after all a sub that earns 100k+ a year is far more valuable then a sub that stays in the house all day needing the dom to provide all support for the sub. Heck right now im planning on paying to send my current slave to college so that in the future she can provide further resources for us to play with. It really just boils down to sex being a very small part of a D/s relationship, lets face it as much as we'd like to think it no one feels like having sex 24/7 (Yea yea i know there are some that will claim otherwise but your in denial :P),

lol i guess you have never been to one...they are fun, you meet great life long friends, your learn so much, you are steeped in a total environment that you have dreamed of all your life, you learn about yourself, you connect with a spiritual aspect, you meet some of the most knowledgeable and dedicated teachers, and you laugh, you cry, you feel pain, you are exalted....i cant think of a better place to spend my vacation time and money actually....espesially with some of the best friends i have ever known.

Unlike a lot of people, i care for my slaves and have chosen to dig into the possible psychological impact that our lifestyle can have on subs/slaves.

So that i may better understand how to train them, and ensure thier health and happiness. Sometimes there are just better ways to effect change in a slave then yelling at them and whipping them and beating them into submission.

I concur,a big waste of time,Little can be done at one,basics I guess positions,and those of GOR can "instill" deep philosophical meanings of their lives..Each and every owners/MASTER has different needs.when I acquire a new slave/sub,Diane and I tell them forget every thing you think you know or have been taught,we shall strip all that away and teach you what we wish you to know..IN order not to seem hypocritical WE will train with an owners needs in mind after conferring with said owners many times..as always just this ol' masters views..

I think your mistaken, the original poster was asking about a place to be trained as a submissive/slave. What you seem to be talking about is a retreat. Two different things.

NOT at all some where in my back post I stated"dungeon and training center" for our personal use....we do train for owners after conferring of his/her needs not an open center where they will take anyone for a buck ,like so many ran with no ideas of what they are doing..BOUNTY

bounty: sounds like we know of two very different academies then, the one you speak about sounds dreadful, the one i am speaking of is known around the world by its very good reputation, as a place to find a spiritual center and immerse yourself in tradition and wisdom, and learn what the heart of service really is, as you go in to this lifestyle.

that whole whipping and beating them into submission is the legacy of porn, most people in this lifestyle, care deeply for their slaves, and see the idiocy of behavior modification based on the fear/pain model.
