Before I begin, this is just my opinion based upon my own experience. I don't necessarily believe that women are any less turned on by visual pornography. What I do believe, in conjunction with the written word, is that women enjoy being able to create their own images in their mind's eye. With a video , for example, you are left only with what the creator has chosen to show you. In a piece of erotica, though, a woman is able to take from it what she wants, discard what doesn't turn her on, and create her own porn. I know for me, little things in a video that I'm otherwise enjoying, might put me off instantly. Let's say, for example, you enjoy anal sex, but find the idea of a rimjob unappealing. When they incorporate both into the video, you're left with that one bothersome image in your mind, rather than the other things you were enjoying up until that point. But I really do enjoy the visual side of porn. Some of the best sex I've ever had, especially with Master, has involved watching a pornographic video. Some of it also probably has to do with the fact that I'm a bit of a literature snob. -chuckles-
