Just got done watching the debate. John Mc Cain is the same old shit, I was really dissapointed in Rudy Guiliani, he really is a Democrat at heart I believe. Tancredo and Paul both did well, Thompson surprised me with some good answers, Gilmore and Huckabee??? Duncan Hunter was great! Brownback was good. And the big surprise I think was Mitt Romney, he was very good! Anyone else watch?

Yeah, that's a good question! There's how many, 100 million of us out here? We need to have a debate with candidates from the Green, Constitution, Libertarian, and other partys.

having moved- i had to -well im too late to register in this district- but we have a state ballot inititive that as it turns out i CAN vote-but in my previous neighborhood. the ballot question- is per PA, do we want to raise the sales tax/icome tax; or raise property taxes-/ for 20 years we have gotten nowhere on tax reform to fund the schools- it is quite a mess- as im sure other states have similliar plight. again- shoddy legislation..... but real estate taxes have been creeping up in this state- to a point that something has to give. ahhh casinos will 'save us" gag me. oh well.

One must first come to terms with the idea that another Republican will actually occupy the white house after this smuck. What a piece of work hey ? McCain lost my vote kissing Fallwell's ass. Yes we need a libertarian in these debates as I believe that is the only way we are going to hear of let alone get anymore old-time, original, conservatism. These guys (republicans) since Regean have been nothing but corrupt, big government, incompetant, deficit spending adventurers.

I haven't seen the debate, damn essays and schools... rabble rabble rabble However, I was reading over one of the Thompson interviews and his voting record. He sticks to his values, and is giving a hell of a lot better excuses for Bush's administration that entire executive branch combined. I need to see how he handles on the spot pressure, but from that I was impressed. Anyone who clashes with their own party gets my vote, saying no to the leadership is exactly what the president needs to do.

My guess is that the PTB won't, within their controlled mainstream public media, allow an Independent's Debate. Why give the sheeple an opportunity to possibly upset the status quo?

I didn't catch the debate, but please, please, please don't let Romney get too ahead! I live in the state he supposdly governed ( I say supposdly because he was off in Europe or in every other state but ours for more than half the term ) and he left a mess of things. Now I can look forward to another forced bill/tax- yes, in MA we now HAVE to buy health insurance, for an "affordable" range of 150-1700 bucks a month. The result of this over glorified legislation is that no one is hiring for full time now. I can just imagine how he would screw up the country. Darn, I hope I get to watch a replay of the key moments of the debate!

We haven't had a real Republican in the W.H. since Reagan. Bush is neither a Republican nor a Conservative! Blindunk, yes, I like it when the candidate clashes with their own party too. Oh, and I liked Ron Paul's responses to a few questions too. He reminds me a lot of Harry Truman! I think I'd actually enjoy seeing Paul in the W.H. shaking things up and upsetting the apple cart for all those "career" politicians in D.C. I bet he'd be a good President! John McCain is all finished I think. He's a big defender of Bush's policies, he wants "comprehensive" immigration reform which means "Amnesty" but he doesn't want to say it! Seeing that 90% of Americans are against Amnesty that tells me he's been in Washington too long and is WAY out of touch with The People. As for Mitt Romney he did great! I'm from Mass and don't like Mass pols but Romney did pretty good there considering all the socialists he had to work with in the Mass House and Senate. It IS "Kennedy Country" after all. (And what a mess!)

Frequently too many people go for this battle between science and religion. My college biology teacher said something very important that I still remember, "the goal of science is not to disprove religion, the goal is to discover the truth." Remember that even Charles Darwin was a christian all the way to his death. He still believed there was a god. The Big Bang theory was actually first proposed by a catholic priest in Belgium in the mid 1920s. For all we know, god guided the Big Bang. God guided evolution of life. If you assume evolution is true, you still cannot prove that god in whatever form does not exist. Science may be able to prove parts of the bible as wrong....but science cannot, as of yet, prove or disprove that god exists. Me? I have no horse in this race. I'm agnostic. I do not practice a religion nor do I worship a god. But I do believe in the POSSIBILITY that a god does exist. I also believe in the possibility that god does not exist. Neither science nor religion has given me enough information or proof for me to make a decision either way.
