GlaxoSmithKline is releasing an over the counter version of a weight loss drug (Xenical) called Alli.  They're selling a book in many drug stores to assist potential buyers manage their use of the product.  CNBC is playing up this extract from the book:

"You may feel an urgent need to go to the bathroom. Until you have a sense of your treatment effects, it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants, and bring a change of clothes with you to work."

"You may not usually get gassy, but it's a possibility when you take Alli. The bathroom is really the only place to go when that happens."

Well, if you take this pill and spend enough time in the bathroom,
you will have less time for eating.  Maybe that's the ploy behind it?  [sm=meh.gif]
