However there is a huge difference between female dog humping and male. Female dogs generally do it to try and establish dominance. When dominance has been established within their "pack" the behaviour is generally non existant.

there are programs to help pay to defray neuter spay expense. i had sheba spayed as her periods were gettting too hard on her. she was a different dog afterwards- it helped her alot.

Fast Reply: Pet ownership should be a privilege and you should have to pay for a special permit to have dog or cat that is capable of reproduction. I have volunteered in the past at a no kill shelter and see what the indulgence of many pet owners cause. Orion

Orion I agree with you 100%. In addition, it really is much healthier for the animal. With my volunteer work at the shelters I am a huge advocate for spaying and neutering. As far as I am concerned, unless a person is breeding high quality animals for show/sale it is utterly irresponsible to not do it.

my cat is fixed and he humps :( he'll hump arms or legs if he is able. it was all funny untill one day he did it and i said " ohh silly boots lemmie rub your belly" rolled him over and it isnt funny anymore.

My dog doesn't really knock up all the neibor hood dogs lol. I was trying to be funny which I obviously failed miserably at. And we didn't clip him because we breed him with my fathers Jack Russel. And we put all the money after vet, and food cost, in my college fund, for when I start school in the fall.
