have you tried calamine, benadryl either pills or cream, cold cloth, aveeno, or any other such product.  However if it is due to stress perhaps even taking a walk, meditation, yoga, or whatever generally works for you to relive stress?

Try cooling it with a cold flannel or water.

MagiksSlave -> RE: Frustration (4/20/2007 10:34:19 PM)

Iv used Ice to get rid of the itch and it is helping a bit, anything topical at the moment isnt a good idea, I have very sensative skin to begin with and Im afraid that putting anything on it will cause further irritation.... I took a benadrill though ti hasnt really helped.. Thanks for the advise ill try maybe a bit of meditaion or something to rleave the stress a bit.

Oatmeal will often take the itch out of things, and I would recommend taking an oatmeal compress and putting it on your skin

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Frustration (4/20/2007 11:34:05 PM)

Try claritin non drowsey.

BondageTopJere -> RE: Frustration (4/20/2007 11:39:55 PM)

Ask him to handcuffs your hands behind your back.  It'll still itch like hell, but at least your not damaging his property, as he puts it.

Snake -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 12:45:10 AM)

Another old remdy is to make a paste of baking soda with either water or milk and apply ,it works for bee stings ,poison ivy and the like

Oooo!!! I can relate to this! I've got this foot thing where I get blisters that rise up under my skin and they itch and itch!!! I scratch, break the blisters, open wounds... not fun! I have to take courses of steroids every now and then just to clear it up. Use a lot of cortizone cream, try making an oatmeal compress and get some medical gauze pads. Tape the sucker up. When I can't get to the itchy spots, I'm more likely to leave them alone. Hope this helps!

Quivver -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 3:26:40 AM)

I'm with Julia on this ... use the oatmeal.  It's all natural and wont have any ugly side effects.
and if that doesnt work, there's always the hand cuffs.  [;)]

magik,  if they are on your chest and you've been stressed it could be a chance it's Shingles.  I got shngles when I was 21, it's a mutation of the chicken pox virus.  Your nervous system acts up giving you a rash.  The first few days I thought I had an allergy or poision ivy, but soon my nervs lite up with horrible pain and then I got the flu.  There is a shot they can give you if you catch it right away, I was to late and had to miss over a month of classes.

I'm not sayin' this is what you have, but it could be a possibility.

When I have hives from allergies Master puts socks on my hands so I remember not to scratch but lightly dust the socks over it.  Oh, I hope you get to feeling better soon, I feel for you.

jayded34 -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 3:38:19 AM)

by now it probably itches because of your scratching.......but normally hives only come from something that you have ingested. if it hasnt been too long think back to what you have eaten up to 3 days before the hives appeared. if it is something different than normal........or sometimes it doesnt have to be........ then you might be allergic to a new food or drink or even something as minute as an ingredient.  Other causes could be something new to cause what is known as contact dermatitis. Benadryl over the counter might not work now because of the irritation and possible infection from scratching. A doctor visit might be in order.....also washing the area 3x a day with antibaterial soap to cleanse it......and keeping nails short will help...i hope this helps...

Squeakers -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 4:03:45 AM)

I know how you feel----I groan when I get these sort of commands.    They make me want to say, "If it's your body then you deal with the itching!"   LOL.   I used corn starch or oatmeal in a paste when my um's had chicken pox.   This seemed to relieve the itch.   I was going to suggest cotton gloves when sleeping but the socks someone else mentioned will work too, because you are apt to scratch in your sleep.   (Would that be disobeying if you did it in your sleep?   For me it probably would)
     I might also suggest using an aloe plant or any type of cream aloe based.   My mom had a ton of these plants and swore that they had healing power and she used them for not only burns but every sort of skin ailment.   I had a young niece who had a severe  type of  rash. Even water made her skin sting.    My mom  rubbed the rash with aloe plant, the sting and itch stopped.   Three days later after using aloe twice a day her skin was healed.
    Good luck Magik and hope you feel better soon---stop stressing---whatever is causing the stress will pass.

softness -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 4:21:44 AM)

has very thin skin so can easily scratch myself a wound ... i hold a cold glass against the itch (keep one in the freezer for this) then when the skin really cold ... very gently stroke over the itchy place with your finger tips ... i really find that helps me .... good luck!

onestandingstill -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 5:33:16 AM)

Rub the rash gently with your fingers and don't scratch it with your fingernails or rub hard.
Soon they'll be gone and you'll be proud of yourself for obeying your Master.

gypsygrl -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 5:34:04 AM)

I had a boob rash a couple months ago.  I went braless for a week or so until it cleared up, and put hydrocortizone ointment on it a couple times a day.  Fortunately it was winter, and real cold out so I could wear bulky sweaters and keep my coat on if I had to go out.  If I had to do something where I needed to look "professional" I put a cotton tank top under a bra so I wouldn't irritate it.  I think mine was an allergic reaction to the underwire in a new bra I had worn.

Having an itch you can't scratch is very frustrating.

Celeste43 -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 6:55:40 AM)

Have you changed detergent or soap or body wash or anything like that? Usual culprit is detergent. If so, go back to the old one and rewash everything in just water to get the residue off.

And go see a doctor if the Benydril isn't working.

CuriousLord -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 7:06:40 AM)

To point out in his order, while I can not speak for him, this may be worth checking into.  When I give one of mine an order, I expect them to follow it to the letter and spirit, but not to the point of being silly (unless it's a punishment).

All I mean is that, he may not mind you rubbing it lightly if his order was given with the sole intent of you not damaging your skin.  If you're still wearing a bra, rubbing it from outside- through the material- could help fulfill some of the desire to itch without disobeying him (again, assuming he's telling you not to scratch to avoid damage).  I'd check with him, if you're not already sure one way or the other about this.

The oatmeal ideas sound like good ones.

Being able to itch a bit, or, as others suggested, cold compress of glass, are very short term fixes.
Medicines and other such thing are short term fixes.
Staving off the particular rash, by means I can't claim to be aware of, would be a long term fix.
Fixing the source of the problem- the stress- would be a very long term fix.

I'd suggest thinking of a means to address each for maximum effectiveness in dealing with the issue.

zindyslave -> RE: Frustration (4/21/2007 8:10:10 AM)

My mom used to get hives from stress usually anti histamines worked but she was getting hives all the time, several times a day and finally she went to a doctor that knew how to help her and he gave her some anxiety meds and it has helped she no longer gets hives. So, if some things don't help I would suggest seeing your doc, esspecially if you skin is sensitive.

If im not mistaken i think you had to of had the chicken pox in order to get shingles... I never had the chicken pox. my brother had them when I was an infent and my mom rushed me to get some shot to prevent me from getting it because even though it is better to get it when younger then when your older, and some parents do chose to expose their children to it so they can get it young because it is less seriouse, at the age I was it was also far to dangerouse to get. I was only a few weeks old if even that old. So I dont think it could be shingles. but that is a good thought.
