by now it probably itches because of your scratching.......but normally hives only come from something that you have ingested. if it hasnt been too long think back to what you have eaten up to 3 days before the hives appeared. if it is something different than normal........or sometimes it doesnt have to be........ then you might be allergic to a new food or drink or even something as minute as an ingredient.  Other causes could be something new to cause what is known as contact dermatitis. Benadryl over the counter might not work now because of the irritation and possible infection from scratching. A doctor visit might be in order.....also washing the area 3x a day with antibaterial soap to cleanse it......and keeping nails short will help...i hope this helps...

Yes usually it comes from something injested but I take after my mother and we have both always had stress indused hives its a nervouse condition I beleave, but it couldnt hurt to make a list of the things I have eaten that may have been out of the ordinery, as I dont think I have ever  been this itchy befor!!!

Have you changed detergent or soap or body wash or anything like that? Usual culprit is detergent. If so, go back to the old one and rewash everything in just water to get the residue off.

And go see a doctor if the Benydril isn't working.

Honestly this could be a real issue I have very sensative skin and I have bad reactions to coco butter (im pretty alergic to it) which is in a lot of soaps and lotions, but Im not always so good at looking at the ingreadiance and also I live with  my family so sometimes even one of my sisters is weareing something I could have a reaction so this is a posability that Ill look into.

To point out in his order, while I can not speak for him, this may be worth checking into.  When I give one of mine an order, I expect them to follow it to the letter and spirit, but not to the point of being silly (unless it's a punishment).

All I mean is that, he may not mind you rubbing it lightly if his order was given with the sole intent of you not damaging your skin.  If you're still wearing a bra, rubbing it from outside- through the material- could help fulfill some of the desire to itch without disobeying him (again, assuming he's telling you not to scratch to avoid damage).  I'd check with him, if you're not already sure one way or the other about this.

The oatmeal ideas sound like good ones.

Being able to itch a bit, or, as others suggested, cold compress of glass, are very short term fixes.
Medicines and other such thing are short term fixes.
Staving off the particular rash, by means I can't claim to be aware of, would be a long term fix.
Fixing the source of the problem- the stress- would be a very long term fix.

I'd suggest thinking of a means to address each for maximum effectiveness in dealing with the issue.

I know what the order is for and he just doesnt want me scratching so that I dont damage my skin.. he would never give such a hard frustrateing order just because he could.. at least I hope not... he doesnt wish to see me any more crazy then I already am LOL

An old hives remedy that actually works is to drop about 40 unbuffered aspirin, not the stomach coated kind, into 1 Cup of rubbing alcohol and shake until they dissolve.  Daub the solution on the hives with a cotton ball or your fingers.

If you can't stand the alcohol, try using vinegar, or witch hazel, instead.  They both work.

Bandaid makes the best anti itch product on the market: It's Bandaid Anti Itch gel, and it works.  It's a clear gel, not a liquid, in a clear tube, any grocery store or pharmacy should have it.  Instant relief, lasts for hours.

For allergic/stress related hives, an oral benadryl really is the best recommendation, unless it's so bad that you need a shot of dexamethazone (steroid).
