I'm an odd mix. I have to know someone a while before getting involved but I'm mellow and as long as the relationship is mellow too, time doesn't really matter as much. So overall, I guess I would prefer go with the flow. Not to bless or curse it, just see where it heads to.

Long term is best i think , for the Master/slave Dom/sub dynamic. The amount of trust needed takes time and commitment if i am understanding the nature of the relationship correctly

Think about movie love.  I've had amazingly intense spiritual connections with someone I just met and never saw again. 

I always thought that sort of thing only happened in the movies, until it happened to me.

Long term overall, but occasionally indulge in a 1 niter or casual relationship.
