I don't  see the point of it, as most of the UK posters tend to talk about the US, more than anything else.

Why would you want a 'just UK' section? In the forums I enjoy the fact that I get to hear such a wide range of opinions and ideas from people scattered around the world.  If I was lookingto meet people who lived close to me I would go to the other side and type in a particular location in the search thing - and voila, I end up with a 'just UK' or 'just USA' or 'just Ukraine' group of profiles.

in teh early years of the net- I found EU ffolks to be be hesistant to talk to me. this was b4 the war.

Alaska and hawaii have a certain remoteness to it.

As a US cictizen, I feel I would miss out on opinions on others whom have a brain. God know we need this more then ever.

[tho] spin off groups happen all teh time real life and cyber- so I would not appose such an idea.

International posters are a bonus. I feel- they bring alot of incite to the table.

I sooths my inner being knowing that- the entire 6 billion on the planet havnt run a muck.

Now more then even- us sheep in the US need to know what is being said/done per the outside world.

Maany of these posts- have brought me full circle in my thinking outside the box.

We need you; [and] we understand if you form a spin off trhead.

we enjoy your company.

Point of information Mr Chairman
We were the 49th state so its blatent discrimination that we havent got two Senators and the correct number of Representatives.

All things being equal I would expect a Brit. President about now !

Just had athought, for all I know we might have been the 14th/15th state, which makes the discrimination even worse. Not quite certain when we started kissing American arse lol
I expect Meatcleaver with his historical knowledge will know.

Another point...CM has started running very slowlee, getting on my titts.

Why would anyone want that? And if it were to happen, then where would be the Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and other Anglophone fora? (edited to name Irish too - dont piss off the Irish, just get pissed with them!)

I find it far more interesting and valuable, that we all participate on the same fora. We learn about one another, argue and debate from varied cultural positions and most importantly come to realise that governments, foreign policies and media sound bites are not necessarily representative of a people.

When you colonials speak English proper like what we does, then you can laugh, alright?

Remember Dick van Dyke in Chitty Chitty Bang bang....he did 'is best Gawd bless 'is 'eart'
Wot do ya need aitches for anyway ?

Mind you Brit pop singers strangling words in mid Atlantic accents are just as bad.
Thats where they ought to be, dropped in the mid Atlantic.

Mixed Liverpool or Sarf Landon and Mississippi or somewhere down there I dunno, what an earbender !
Elton John for example. I think when he records a song he is being held upside down and is gargling with sea water. Thats how his voice sounds to my fine musical ear.

Remember, you're talking to folks who still don't give us a "marital/dating/single" status on profiles ;-)
