Yes I have many times overlooked, and nowadays, try to be aware of myself, my feelings and my surroundings, but it is something I have to remind myself of... I've gone clueless and missing the right moments for a long time, to later recognize missed perfect moments. M

I've experienced the opposite most often. I see things in front of me and ignore the stuff on the periphery. Very short-sighted of me.
